In the course of a round trip with the car through South-England we had reserved three nights with breakfast in Hotel queens in Penzance. The hotel is located right on the promenade. The hotel's private car park is located at the back of the hotel. After we had found it went to the check in a large lounge with bar, tv room and lounge. Unfortunately spoke to the front desk and also in the entire hotel-that is a word of German. But the check in (and out) without any problem. All forms were ready and the staff was extremely friendly. … read more

The whole staff courteous and friendly. Despite our lack of English there were no problems with the language. There is a restaurant for Obviouslythey and an extra for a group tour. The service at the onsite bar is extremely courteous. Food and drinks were always fully satisfactory as a group we had every day the choice between three dishes for starters, main dishes and dessert. You could always dishes typical for the country too. Size of the rooms fully sufficient, but the TV offer was no German program, which did not bother us. You can at any time tea, chocolate … read more

Staff was nice, they spoke English. Room cleaning was okay. We had nothing to complain about. The dining room had the charm of a waiting area, the food was not as good. Eating, culinary arrogance is non-existent. Room was small, but big enough. The picturesque wooden sliding Beansprout-windows rattled and there was always a fresh breeze. The bathroom was small with tub and shower. Was probably newly tiled and there was a nice, glass shower partition. Cleanliness was alright, there was new towels every day. There was a kettle, dishes, coffee, tea and cookies (as in any other hotel we … read more

We had a really big and spacious room. The leisure activity options were pretty good. The rooms are as regards the but amenities are very different. Conclusion: we were lucky... Otherwise the hotel dated and worn. The cleanness left a lot to be desired: the opened lift shaft is obviously had never been cleaned. Really bad was the breakfast: the selection was limited, presentation and service were poor (for example, dirty coffee pots, no plates, toast in plastic packaging, overcooked) and the young staff were simply overtaxed. … read more
