With a star hotel we expect no luxury, but it clean and tidy is. Unfortunately shows, that the rooms are somewhat outdated: the paint in the bathroom was coming off and the drain in the shower didn't work correct. What was annoying, was the forgotten during our stay our room clean. Nice in the room was the view of the quarter (were on the 5 floor).
The staff at reception were very friendly and were willing to help. English perfectly understood. It has often been a mixture of english, german and french spoken, but we didn't mind, as we were. However, … read more

We were there for 3 days in this hotel. For a city break it is more than adequate. The rooms are in terms of size ok, and the staff friendly.
The breakfast much rather austere, but the bare essentials, such as Baguette, Croissant, cheese, ham, coffee, tea, kellogs was available and tasty.

Staff very friendly and absolutely helpful. Room cleaning okay, when we in our room arrived we had to determine that the bed not really one thing is, the head under the pillow was just a wooden plank available from about 30 centimeter, they have naturally in the length of the pool deck was missing. Also the spring under the boards broken and the board, down, so sleep was not possible. The hotel was very clean and especially good value for money. We have including breakfast 68 Euro per night paid.
For french conditions the breakfast was extremely rich ( cheese, sausage, ham, eggs, bacon, tea, coffee, sodas and various juices) the hotel is located somewhat away of the center. By train ( RER line a) it takes of nanterre ville about 20 minutes to the center ( Chatelet Les Halles) the train runs every 10 minutes. Especially

For a city break to Paris really recommendable. Hotel lies a little out of the way and in a fairly dreary area, but by very good traffic connection ( RER) the city of Paris in only about 15 minutes to reach. A big plus: free and secure parking in the hotel's own underground parking! Friendly staff. Quite 'modest' breakfast.
Altogether however by the favorable price ( we have a large German ' Kaffeefirma ' booked) quite recommendable. … read more
