Thursday, 5 November 2009, I as a guest in the restaurant and I order 3DL Dôle and a cordon bleu. Wine cost CHF 14,10 but was brought in a glass, it reminded of this from the last century. Wine offered corresponding not specifically. The cordon bleu frîtes with fries and vegetables, price CHF 29,50, reminded more of a Hamburger outside without bread, as a cordon bleu. The owner is charming and helpful in every way imaginable. He lent us a hiking map, and had suggestions of where to go. He makes an effort to introduce all guests to each other and sets a competent and efficient and friendly tone. Children are welcome here and there are videos and toys for their enjoyment.The restaurants are immaculate. The food is very good, and plentiful. Most of the staff stays at the hotel for many years, a fact which says how well staff is treated. Most staff speak at least German, English and Italian, as well as Spanish. There is no washing machine but the hotel will wash your laundry on request. Mr Fuchs is always available to provide hiking information; weekly the hotel leads hiking trips.
