The Sol Cayo Coco is an absolutely average 4* Cuba-hotel, where you braked expectations feel quite well can. Okay, next door, melia makes a clear better impression, however also with much higher prices. We have here only one night and felt ourselves very well. Since we were here yes beach vacation after the round trip wanted to do, was the location ideal to relax. Two beaches are here available. Once the main beach, right on the hotel with catering, and a so-called ' nebenstrand' the outside of the hotel is. There are not so many loungers and shade, is but also cleaned. This was far better than the main beach. Had only bad luck this hurricane sandy over and the foothills with almost three days rain felt. What is noticeable, is the very different degrees the service-Efficiency-too many - employees. Some have really good mood, other see apparently nothing at all. Good hotel at the beach with a Caribbean flair. Hotel is a bit dated, but clean and tidy. The beach is okay - here you can a trip to Pilar by regional bus recommended, costs 5 CUC (-& return)-this beach is really a dream beach. You can further hotels visit, which hotel group belong. Before must however in the hotel sign up, you'll get the appropriate wristband. I found this hotel super - the employees strove, to get the wishes fullfilled. Location
This wonderful all-inclusive hotel is located on Cayo Coco, one of the fascinating keys of the Sabana-Camagüey archipelago, which is also known as the Jardines Del Rey. Located on the north coast of this tourist region beside a beautiful, sugar-white beach, the hotel is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation with palms and coconut trees. Silla lies approximately 15 km away, Caya Coco airport is 20 km from the hotel and it is around 85 km to Ciego de Avila airport. Coral reefs are to be found 1 km away.
Facilities
The air-conditioned club resort is ideal for families and features a total of 270 rooms of which 4 are suites and 2 have wheelchair access. Facilities include a safe, a currency exchange desk and a cloakroom in addition to Internet access, a café, several bars, a nightclub and 4 restaurants. There is a laundry service to take advantage of, as well as medical assistance. Younger guests may let off steam in the playground or participate in the kids’ club activities. There is a car park for those arriving by car.
Rooms
Each of the rooms comes with a full en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, an Internet connection, a small fridge, a king-sized bed, individually controllable air conditioning, a hire safe and a terrace.
Sports/Entertainment
