We stayed in the tower room with a fantastic sea view. Positive: - Service as never expected: friendly, professional and experienced staff (big plus for hiring 40/50+ experienced employees) - very good food in the lobby restaurant and room service (great price/quality) - fantastic breakfast (wide choice, fast service, no queues) - well equipped kids club - great location (close to numerous restaurants, shopping outlets) - SPA with nice and professional staff - overall very clean areas to improve: - no free internet in rooms (quite expensive); fortunately free of charge in the lobby area - bathrooms very clean but ... a bit “tired” as for 5* hotel - outside (terrace) a bit badly repainted and humidity does its work… - same thing with the underground parking but this is less important… Room Tip: Tower rooms have a fantastic sea view and large terraces. read hotel review

after some check-in problems, while no rooms very ready even after 15hrs, the overall stay was nice. There are a lot of attractions next to the hotel, ans public transportation stops in front of the hotel. In a 5 minute-walk you reach the party-street of St. Julian's, and if you walk 5 minutes more, you reach the harbor with the nicer restaurants. There is no beach in the hotel. read hotel review

During the entire stay because the pool area was considered by a large bauzelt for construction, one had already at breakfast were no beautiful sight and could not be used for sunbathing. Also the condition of the plants (some halbvertrocknete palms) unfortunately not very appealing. If you are not the wi-fi used possibility in the lobby, was on a very costly variant on food, in today's time not for a hotel of this star category. Only probably not the 5 star status justified large spacious rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. read hotel review

The island Malta as a destination for the whole year is advertised. The hotels are the unfortunately not. The Westin is, if at all only suitable for the summer months. The hotel was literally in the 'sluggishness'. Despite good weather was opened only at the beginning of the outdoor april starting to clear up. The outdoor pool was under a huge tent. Beach chairs were not available. The indoor pool, the should serve as compensation was a disaster. Altogether over 300 rooms 7 beach chairs. Everything was very dirty and worn. The sanitary facilities in the pool area were poor. ... Everything broken and neglected. The changing rooms of gyms were in the pool area, so that everyone had to walk through with its shoe once crosswise. Until 7:00 p. m. children were only allowed to in the pool. The we found to be pure cheek, as was noted this anywhere. Zero comfort. The 'alleged' beach area was locked. The food in the hotel is average, but the restaurant is very good quattro. The hotel made a rather worn impression but overall. Peeling paint everywhere. The room we had (a suite) was large and had a nice view. However the room is very badly soundproofed. You could hear every word the neighbors. And if this around 11:55 p. m. wanted to look far, we had to follow the program with acoustically. The tennis center is also in a bad condition. Positive noticed, that all staff extremely friendly and we had the impression that it was honest. The location is great, directly on the sea. The description of the hotel in the catalog and on the website of the hotel do not reflect the actual condition again. Conclusion: the friendliness of the staff unfortunately not able to compensate for the rest. Therefore we do not come again! read hotel review

    The staff was very friendly. For questions (where is the nearest bus stop is & co) was always helped quickly and competently. English are perfect. We didn't try german. Even if you Malta always again complaints about the room cleaning can hear, we were satisfied.

    We had a deluxe double room with partial sea view. The room was massive with two (!) Individual 1.60 meters beds. It is a few never great, if one had separate beds, but due to the size of the individual beds, you could also at any time in one cuddle ☺ The bathroom was not the newest, but clean. Otherwise there are both an iron with ironing board, as well as a water heater for tea and instant coffee.

    There are plenty of restaurants, shopping possibilities and bars in the vicinity, however, it is due to the location of the hotel is on a headland fairly quiet. The noisiest was the sound of the ocean. But one can get it ☺ Bus stops were all in the vicinity. We have on 4 days the island.

    In terms of service, we must unfortunately most minus points. On arrival our room was not ready and we were up 15 hours comforted, but with the remark, that at this time no rooms cannot be guaranteed, since the hotel was fully booked. I should my mobile phone indicate, so that i could call, if a room was ready. But it was not unfortunately, because when i asked at the reception for 15 hours they gave me the prepared room keys (without previous call). Another point was also the friendliness at the pool bistro. We have 10 minutes on the card maintained (the table was not cleaned) and then further 10 minutes until finally the drinks were there. I think this is too long, perhaps still stands, if a lot of guests to use, the tables were mostly empty. The staff sauntered around and was also otherwise not overly friendly.

    Have booked only breakfast. From 9:30 a. m. there was the matter hell. Rather than few somewhat in former times to go out for breakfast. The choice was partly somewhat scarcely, a sort of cheese, the whole week (was as emmentaler cheese labelled, although each swiss know, as such looks and tastes, and not so ☺ ) Dinner at the italian restaurant was very good and also the staff has itself to several times asked, if everything tastes. This was 5 star standard!
