Services are up to expectations, staff are very friendly and speak english (except room maids). Rooms and all surroundings are clean and well kept. I only had the breakfast which was excellent. Try the omelettes from the egg-station, they were among the best I ever had. Also a good variety of freshly cut fruits is available.I had an executive suite which was very nice! Location
This hotel is the first luxury hotel by the beach in Barra da Tijuca. Riocentro, the largest convention centre in Latin America, is located nearby. Tom Jobim international airport is around half an hour away by car.
Facilities
The modern hotel has a total of 292 rooms and suites. The beach hotel is air-conditioned and features a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a bar, an à la carte restaurant, and several conference rooms with capacity for 400. On payment of an additional fee, it is possible to make use of the launderette. Those arriving by car may park in the garage (charges apply).
Rooms
The stylish, comfortable rooms each come with an en suite bathroom, a hire safe, and a minibar. Further fittings include a direct dial telephone, an Internet connection, satellite/ cable TV, and central air conditioning.
