For new year's we were in Barcelona and very satisfied. The location is good, if you a lot of time at the beach to spend or prepared, into town a few stations with the subway to drive. Right in the district is relatively few going on, but there are a few individual restaurants in the rambla nearby. The hotel is quite modern. We were relatively far below accommodated, the room was still bright. Despite air conditioning, it was rather cold, a heating did not give it. Have the hotel for the first time use it, since i was only there for one clean and affordable property searched. I was definitely not disappointed, the hotel everywhere seemed very well-kept and the staff are very accommodating. Important is perhaps for couples to mention, that the double bed in my room from two single beds was, which on castors were. The free in the room available standing wi-fi was very signalschwach, however, there is in the lobby several terminals, at which one also free check your e-mail can. Location
The hotel is situated in the triangle formed by the Forum area, the Olympic port and Plaza de las Glorias, in a newly developed area in Barcelona. It is 100 m from the nearest beach and close to restaurants and a shopping area. The Llacuna metro stop is only 50 m away, and the city centre can be reached in about 10 minutes by public transport. The Francia railway station is just a 2-minute walk away, and Barcelona International Airport is 21 km from the hotel.
Facilities
Built in 2008, this air-conditioned city hotel has 224 rooms, of which 13 are junior suites with balcony and 8 are disability-friendly rooms. Guests are welcomed into a reception lobby with 24-hour check-in and check-out service. Facilities include a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom, lift access, WLAN Internet access and a car park. For dining and drinks, guests can enjoy the hotel’s own café, bar and restaurant. There are also conference facilities for business guests, and room and laundry services are on offer.
