We came for a short break after seeing the reviews on trip advisor, the reviews were true in every detail, and we certainly were not disappointed.. We have never been made to feel so welcome. Mike tells you to treat the place like your own home. You can come and go when you please with your own set of keys, Mike asks you when you would like breakfast and does not tell you when it is. My wife an i are already for the 2. time this bed & breakfast. Here simply with two stays everything was perfect, from the reservation to the front desk everything was very service minded. The location of the b&b cologne brilliant, the rooms spacious and modern, clean and had a super comfortable bed. The breakfast indescribable, the staff and the owner are just great. He asked us what time we wanted breakfast (how many B&B do that ?!!) and it was ready when we came downstairs. He spent time with us fleshing out info in our copy of Rick Steve's guidebook and was a real help. We toured all over Cologne and found that the B&B is quite centrally located. Everything of importance (to us) was within easy walking distance. Breakfast was beyond great. Myself and 2 other work colleagues decided to stay at the Cologne B&B apartment instead of the usual business hotels. I can 100% guarantee that after finding this amazing place, we will not be using the hotels of Cologne ever again.
