  'La Palapa EcoLodge Resort', surrounded by tropical gardens is located in a virgin Tropical Rainforest, with 149 Acres (60.5 Hectares) of land, in the Central Pacific Coast of Portalon in Costa Rica, offering an incredible wildlife variety of fauna and flora. Our airy bungalows, are painted with warm colors and decorated with unique original objects imported from North and Southern Africa, to create a very warm and special atmosphere. All non-smoking, have very comfortable beds, ceiling fans, private terrace with bamboo table and chairs, cool tiled floors, private bathrooms with hot showers, large furnished living room with an extra bed, fitted kitchen with refrigerator and screened windows that let in gentle breezes and melodic sounds from the jungle as you fall asleep. The La Palapa Resort is considered one of the most beautiful and well kept in, Quepos-Matapalo-Dominical and Uvita area, with grounds and tropical gardens beautifully maintained and clean, by very dedicated and friendly staff that deliver the best service. This is a very calm and quite tropical rainforest resort away from modern civilization that delivers to all the clients that stay in it, the peace and tranquility that only a few have manage to create respecting wildlife at the same time. Is very normal to have our clients from all over the world coming back to La Palapa year after year, to stay for longer periods each time due to the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere they enjoy at La Palapa. We are 23 kms south of Quepos, and famous Manuel Antonio National Park and beaches. Only 3 kms from the resort is Matapalo and Playa Linda unspoiled beaches. If you drive 16 kms more to the south is Dominical with a spectacular beach favorite by surfers.
