Wow, the service is great: a uniformed front desk clerk opens the door of the taxis and helpful the luggage against. 430 Euro per night for a standard double - certainly we were in London, but all in all but not the highlight. The room is newly renovated, but on closer inspection you see clearly that it was an old building. The windows old and leaky, so that the next morning was fogged up everything and you had no view. The view from the six floor unfortunately then fell on the construction site to the house opposite. Loveless, but at least competent check in - child was not handled at all. We stayed over New Year's Eve 2009 at One Aldwych. The hotel is in a great location, right near Covent Garden, Waterloo Bridge, about ten minutes walk away from Trafalgar Square. Buses stop right in front of the hotel, the metro station is also very near. The hotel was certainly not cheap, facilities, service, friendliness justify this but.
