Great hotel, almost directly on the strip with easy access to the famous Bellagio hotel. Gladly anytime again. The only two aspects as felt negatively: It is, as in many hotels in Las Vegas, a resortfee amount of 25$ per day exalted, which are not negotiable. There are no extras like in other hotels. The hotel offers only valet-parking, which was to the tip is free, but we as annoying found, since one one or another time, however, like to the car would, …  read hotel review

You get no queensbetten. For our stay was the pool locked. We should to the pool the aria hotel go. The footpath is endlessly long. At the front desk was very rude. Otherwise the hotel is just boring. The bar is very expensive. One has no selfparking and must be Car the valet parking and waiting at the picked up again endlessly. …  read hotel review

The Vdara Staff is amazing and very helpful. It also dosent has a casino located in the hotel itself which makes it very peace and calm, whereas you can just walk next door to either the Bellagio or Aria and gamble if youd like. The rooms are beautiful though Id have to say the bathrooms are pretty crappy. read hotel review

Good hotel but not a spa

  • November 2014
We stayed in Vdara for 3 nights in November. Hotel is very good, view is the best I had in Vegas (39 floor to Bellagio fountains). Room is perfect, bed is the best. The main problem: Vdara supposed to be hotel and spa. The real spa is absent. Yes, the pool is here, but small and uninviting. In real "hotel and spa" there are no charges for using the spa facilities, only for extra services. We had know that the simple entrance to the spa cost $25, but I had not idea of what is inside (there are no good ... pictures on the website). So my wife decided just to come by and check before pay. And what? She was not even allowed to get inside! Pay first! So I went downstairs and checked the man's side (yes, there are 2 separate facilities). For a change, attendant on a man's side let me see it. What a jock! Nice finishes, a lot of lockers, but one small pool with running water, small sauna and steam room. And that's it! The rest is a private massage rooms. I really suggest the people who runs that 5-star hotel and spa to see the real spa (I suggest Kempinsky Hotel in St, Moritz, and the spa is free there). Some other small problems: business center is close later in the day, hotel does not have dinner facilities (it was actually a plus for me - there are so many good food options in Bellagio and Aria). And last: we had a very late flight, so we asked the front desk if we could stay in the room a little bit late. Usually Hotel would allow you to stay a couple of extra hours free of charge if there are not a lot of people in the hotel. Not here - they asked me to pay an extra $149 for up to 5 hours (from 1pm to 6pm) and that was more then daily rate I paid for the room. I refused. Also, the resort fee I paid at check-out supposed to be tax-free (according to Orbitz, where I booked the hotel), but I was charged a 12% tax on that fee anyway. i did show the reservation letter from Orbitz, but it did not help. Overall, a nice hotel in amazing City Center, but not a Spa. read hotel review

Great LV getaway. City Center seems to be up-and-coming area -- easy walk to most things you'd want to see. And *no* gaming at the hotel itself -- for us, a definite plus. Great view West from our room (maybe 12th floor?), and *fast* elevators: a new building that seemed more "elegant" than most in Vegas. Only drawback was pool area closed due to incoming storm. read hotel review

The Vdara is the top hotel for a trip to Vegas, if you don't necessarily want a casino in the hotel. We got married in Vegas, and found the slightly quieter location in the '2nd row' without a casino to be outstanding. Through a promo-special we had the 73m² suite for the same price as a normal room. This was sensational. Everything is still new and not worn - the style is excellent! Only the dusting of the dark furniture and windowsills was a bit neglected. No matter how many smileys you draw in the dust:-). You even get ... your own kitchen and washer and dryer. Every accessory you may need, you can even order directly from room service and have it delivered quickly and with a smile. A footbridge directly connects the Vdara with the Bellagio and in 5 minutes you are directly on the strip. In the hotel itself there is a Starbucks, a bar and a mini-convenience store. So you are also quickly supplied if you don't feel like facing the crowds. We would book this hotel again any time! read hotel review

I would rate this hotel as 6 stars. otel is non-smoking and non-gaming which made it a lovely peaceful place. it's situated on the strip. our oom was clean, very large and nicely decorated, the large bed was soo comfortable. that we felt like sleeping on the cloud. Check-in and Check-out is made in 5 seconds :) and when we asked for heater to boil water we've get it at once. read hotel review

The hotel is located on the south end of the strip a little built between the aria resort & casino and the cosmoplitan and is - like all hotels in Las Vegas - very large. The hotel does not have its own casino, and offers exclusive suites, the very modern and generous. The use of the internets (wlan) was in the entire hotel free of charge. read hotel review

The staff was always friendly and a complaint (not working tv) were friendly taken up and fixed within short time. The room was cleaned every day, the rooms were always clean.

We stayed at the 49. floor. Our suite was with about 60 square meter more than generous. In the entrance area there was the kitchen and minibar (plus a separate fridge) and a sitting area to eat. Followed by the living area which features a large flat screen tv, a queensbed and a couch with armchair and table has. Furthermore, there was a desk, a built-in closet with safety deposit box as well as various storage space. The bathroom was also very generous with a freestanding bath tub and a separate shower. Conclusion: the room (suite) left nothing to be desired.

  • Location

The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk away from the strip and is connected to the Bellagio hotel, also there is a free monorail to the aria and the Monte Carlo drives. The hotel does not have its own casino, which in our opinion is positive, as the whole fuss' outside 'remains, this makes the hotel' clear '. Everything for the tagesbedarf, as well as shopping and shows were in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The drive from the mccarren to the hotel cost depending on traffic 15-20 American Dollar plus tip.

The hotel in the city center complex is located between Bellagio and aria, from the strip through the Cosmopolitan and crystals separated. The vdara has no casino, and no restaurants, but it is the Bellagio with a large offer right next door by a footbridge within 3 minutes walking distance. On the common priority one arrives also the aria resort and casino features a large selection of local. Alternatively, you could also with the free city center tram to the Monte Carlo drive. After a few minutes walk to the MGM, planet hollywood and Paris iv (on the other side ... of the strip). Although we had to leave the room rate on priceline (it ' offers' a certain amount for a star-level and an area, but i don't know, which hotel one gets) booked, we were given a room (there was only suites) with a great view of the Bellagio-fountains. The modern and elegant style has me very well fallen, the room was large and very well appointed, including kitchenette (but no table-ware/cutlery, the request was). To me negatively the absence of usual kettles for coffee/tea preparation on. Also negative was not very loud, but clearly visible buzz the city center tram next to the hotel (a constant noise due to the umlaufkabel system). The hotel has no garage for self parking, but only offers valet parking. This is free, but you have, of course, with each collection (and possibly also in the pass) a tip present, all the car waiting, and if one which forgot, or even a bag to get, you can't simply go down to the car. As an alternative, the garage in Bellagio, the closer than the garage of the city centre. read hotel review

We opted for the Vdara, because it is one of the few non-casino hotels. The hotel is modern and comfortably furnished. The rooms are clean and very spacious. From the Vdara out you can get directly at the Bellagio, therefore it is very fast right in the Centre of the Strip. We had unfortunately no view of the fountain or the Strip. That was however not further bad. In Vdara there is the market café where you can have breakfast. A bar is located right across the street. Both are located in the lobby. Other hotels have of course more ... to offer here There are no restaurants, no nightclub or other at vdara. But we knew this before and was therefore not bothered by it. The pool is clean, but relatively small and nothing out of the ordinary. read hotel review
