The staff was very friendly and extremely hard. Also the staff at the reception was very friendly, accommodating and endeavors all questions and requests to fulfill. We would definitely go again.My mother and i were in september for some days in the hotel perren and felt very good here. The hotel was almost fully booked and all ages.We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and both was delicious. On the breakfast buffet is everything your heart desires.Our room was huge, very clean, nicely decorated and we had also the luck a room with a balcony overlooking the Matterhorn and since the … read more

Our short break in Zermatt was great, also thanks to the hotel. Great good room - the single room was huge-new refurbished bathroom, with wonderful plates. The food in the restaurant 'La Barrique' in the evening ( below) was gigantic, very, very nice! And you get 10% discount if you hotel guest is. This personally-ran hotel is a 3-minute walk from the centre. The closest valley station is almost as close to the hotel. Zermatt Train Station is just 500 m from the hotel. A transfer for arriving and departing guests in included in the price.
Facilities
Renovated in 2000, this hotel comprises a total of 5 floors. Facilities include a reception desk, a hotel lobby with a fireplace, a lift, a bar, an à la carte restaurant and a lounge room. A public Internet terminal (additional fee applies) and a ski room also feature within this cosy hotel. On payment of an additional fee, guests may make use of the garage parking facilities.
