  The hotel is located in a central position in Jakarta, in the heart of old Batavia or the Kota region. From here guests have a view over the national presidential palace and the National Museum (Monas). The city's business districts (Thamrin and Sudirman) and Indonesia's biggest trade centre are just 4 km away. The hotel is 20 km from the international airport at Soekarno-Hatta.

The contemporary hotel offers its guests immaculate, abstract interior design The name of the hotel comes from the Sanskrit for surprise, which neatly reflects its refreshing character and reaction of its guests.
