The Hotel Santanna is located on the western banks of Lake Maggiore, between Intra and Pallanza. It enjoys a central, however calm location only 100 m from Villa Taranto and the Borromean islands. Our rooms are elegantly appointed and provided with amenities that meet everyone´s expectations such as shower, hair-dryer, safe, satellite TV, mini-bar, air condition, phone and internet connection. Our standard rooms have a sober design and modern furnishings. They offer tourists and business travellers alike all necessary amenities for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The Restaurant Il Centro is open for all those who want to sample home-made specialties. Our chef serves you excellent dishes based on creative recipes and a wide selection of fantastic wines. Please note that our restaurant is closed during the winter from November until February! In the surrounding area of Lake Maggiore you will find old palaces, impressive botanic gardens, the medieval La Rocca Fortress, the convent of Santa Catarina del Sasso and the ruins of Cannero. From January 1st 2012 a visitor's tax will be charged in the amount of € 1,50 per person per night (children up ti 5 years old are free).
