Location
The hotel is located at the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, just 6 km from Ayers Rock airport.
Facilities
Combined with all the luxuries of the resort, the hotel is ideal for families who want to enjoy all that Ayers Rock (Uluru) has to offer. Complimentary return coach transfers from Ayers Rock airport to the resort meet every scheduled flight. Guests have access to the common room with TV and Internet access, self-catering kitchen and laundry.
Rooms
Standard rooms are comfortable and spacious and feature one queen and one single bed. All rooms have a private en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, minibar/fridge, TV and movies on demand. Budget rooms feature either four single bunk beds or one double and one single bed and have a private en suite bathroom.
Sports/Entertainment
With over 65 tours, local activities and attractions within the resort and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, guests' days will be action-packed. They can take a helicopter tour for a bird's eye view of the breathtaking central desert landscape; ride a camel across the dunes to watch the sunrise or sunset, or hop on a Harley for a burn around Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Other options include hiking through the Valley of the Winds, or embarking on a base walk of Uluru to discover its living landscapes.
Meals
Guests can taste Australia's pioneering past with a beer and some outback delights at the do-it-yourself Outback BBQ, or opt for the peace and quiet of the Bough House Restaurant with traditional Australian 'tucker'.
Misc.
There is no better way to explore Central Australia than at one's own pace. Therefore pre-booking of hire cars is recommended. Coach transfers are available and operate services between Alice Springs, Kings Canyon, and Uluru; coach bookings can be made through the hotel.
