Based on the positive reviews and the bargain price of 350 €per person (Where./ full board/all inclusive flight with Ryan Air) the trip was quickly booked. Location
This modern hotel is situated in the tourist area of Salou, directly on Europe's Square. The splendid sandy beach is approximately 300 m away. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity. A bus stop lies within 20 metres of the hotel. A day trip out to the Port Aventura theme park, 1 km away, as well as the villages of Tarragona and Reus is worthwhile. The international airport is 10 km away.
Facilities
This complex was built in 1987 and completely renovated in 2007. There are a total of 327 rooms, spread over 6 floors. The hotel's considerable lobby includes lift access, safes, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and a 24-hour reception. Guests are also offered use of a pool complex and the gardens. Furthermore, there is a games room, TV room, a cosy bar, an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and children's highchairs available on request. Hotel guests may also use the kids club, public Internet terminal, playground as well as medical assistance offered, if necessary.
Rooms
The elegantly furnished en suite rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, a telephone, satellite/cable TV, a radio, a fridge, a double bed, central heating, a balcony, air conditioning and a safe.
Sports/Entertainment
There is a pool in the garden with a separate children's pool and a small waterfall, a snack bar, a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. A gym and a spa area with a hot tub, sauna and solarium are all available. Other activities, including aerobics and billiards/snooker, are all offered for an additional charge. The hotel organises a diverse entertainment programme on a daily basis.
Meals
Guests may choose their breakfast, lunch and dinner from the respective buffets. It is possible to book a half board or a full board stay.
