Small City Hotel in walking distance to the old town and Fort Jesus. Nice rooftop terrace and possibility. Inert staff. The agreed wake-up call was not made, there were before we left a breakfast. The staff had slept and did not care to any compensation or reimbursement of the price of the loss of breakfast. … read more

the new palm tree is still an inexpensive overnight stay possibility in the overpriced mombasa. The traditional bar is closed, thus the change to the 'no alcohol' hotel. The kitchen (halal) always tried to bring european service. The rooms furthermore, spartan but clean, there are ' new towels, some rooms have even a fridge or a tv. Location
The hotel is centrally located in Mombasa, just 600 metres from Fort Jesus. Both Mombasa Old Port and the Old Town are reachable in 10 minutes on foot. Moi International Airport is 13 km away.
Facilities
The comfortable city hotel was built in 1950 and offers 31 rooms and a spacious courtyard.
