In the meantime, the rooms unfortunately signs of usage, the mattresses are worn out-in short the beautiful times of the hotel seemed gone. For this price there are better alternatives. Only conditionally recommendable. …  read hotel review

The whole hotel is difficult ageing. Felted, scuffed carpets in all areas, unmotivated, at schnellstabfertigung interested staff, musty evil smelling room at least with normal posting about customary tour operator - with one word-for the same price in lv very much better quality! Queue at the check-in, unfriendly to annoyed check in-switch -staff - and this on a normal tuesday-afternoon! …  read hotel review

I booked via Travelocity 1-deluxe room for 1-night. Check-in @ hotel is 3pm. Expect to see many guests waiting around. Because this property charges $30 dollars to check-in early. When I registered, I was unlucky to get a Chinese gal who didn't speak English very well. I could barely understand her. I asked for 1-key card. But she gave me 2, which I wasn't aware of. One of the room key cards wasn't activated. I didn't know about the faulty room key card till later. When I left to buy my lunch, I inadvertently took the non-active key card with ... me. When I tried to get into my room the key card didn't work. So I had to make the long walk back to the front desk. The room I got was at end of the very long hallway at the back of the hotel. At the front desk, I confronted the Chinese gal who gave me the key card. She refused to help. She told me, to get back in the long check in line. I waited for 20mins. w/my lunch getting cold. Then another front desk clerk gave me duplicate key cards. Which took only 2mins. to generate. Chinese gal who barely spoke English wouldn't give me the 2mins. for good customer service. Even though, it was her fault, for giving 2-key cards. With 1-that she forgot to activate. I will complain to the hotel about this. By the way, I tried to get help via the house phone, located outside my room. So I wouldn't have to make the long walk, with my just purchased lunch back to the front desk. But nobody answers the house phone, even from the phone next to the main elevator on the 15th floor where I had my room. Likewise, everyone should know, there are online posting documenting bookings made via wholesale sites like Travelocity. That sell discounted hotel rooms, the hotels like Treasure Island routinely sets aside the worst rooms to fill these discounted bookings. A perfect example would be the deluxe room I got at the very back of the Treasure Island hotel. read hotel review

Bad news first: The internet connection was very bad, nothing with "hi-speed", packet loss ~50%, uploads 50 kbit/s max - and that was on the wired version. Wireless was entirely useless. I chose this hotel because it is one of the very few in Las Vegas that offers wireless and wired internet, because I needed to get work done. I was disappointed. Also, the chair at the tiny desk was an assault on my back - I was standing for many hours a day, doing my work on the dresser. That was better than it may sound. BTW, the room ... could definitely use stronger light bulbs. Everyhing else I remember being very OK: Comfortable bed and no noise disturbance. And the waiting times for the elevators where always very short. read hotel review

I had a room with two double beds on the 34th floor. I liked it, but it definitely needs stronger light bulbs. It was always dark.

The Gym closes early, as 7pm. So I could only go ones. It was clean, but several machines were out of order.

I tried the buffet once. Had to wait a while, and was not very impressed with the food. But my colleagues, who joined in, loved it. So YMMV. I also tried the Pho once. It was a chep, warm fill after a long trip, but I can't recommend it to Pho-lovers.

It is on the strip, close to the 24 hour drugstore, the Venetian with its restaurants, and the Fashion Show Mall. Good location!

Very friendly staff! Not only at the reception, but also the maids. They heeded my special requests pretty darn well. The Tech-support guy that was sent up to fix my wired internet (it had not been working at all in the beginning) was exemplary. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable and he went the extra mile to fix it.

First: i am working in the tourist industry and test regularly private and business hotels We had a normal double room. The ti is one of the cheaper hotels on the strip. We saw nearly almost all hotels on the strip and i can safely say that i recommend this hotel. On our entire USA west trip this hotel had some of the best amenities. There is a fridge (the Luxor does not, not even in the deluxe room), a huge bathroom with clean towels, a larger vent for some fresh air at the window as in various other hotels ... and the most important: it was quiet. Most hotels were very badly soundproofed. We had a room with a great view of the strip. The only point deductions: the pool is not very inviting. Nevertheless: one must the regard hotel realistically. Of course the hotel is not a venetian or Bellagio and already a bit worn, but value for money is more than top. read hotel review
