A wonderful hotel with mondänem ambience. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. I had a beautiful room with a small balcony and view of the sea. Traffic noise held itself limits. In the satelitte tv unfortunately only italian programs. Wireless internet worked intermittently. … read more

The hotel fulfilled expectations on a 3-star hotel in Italy absolutely. The breakfast was for Italy surprisingly rich, there was even a wide selection of fresh fruit. The coffee comes from the automat, but the very nice lady has on request also a genuine Cappuccino made. The location is for swimming very ideal, just a few meters to the beach. … read more

The facade and the entrance to the hotel are amazing one thought Wow. Then one comes into the room and well think therefor the money not more. The attempt to all modern decorated, but the bathroom was broken and part old. The shower was flat on the ground and the water through the whole bathroom tiles and it was pretty small. Location
This hotel is situated just 4 km from the Viareggio exit of the A11 Viareggio-Lucca motorway. Guests will find shops, restaurants, bars, links to the public transport network and the beach in the immediate vicinity, while the nightlife and train station in Viareggio city centre are around 2 km away. Pisa is a 40-minute drive from the hotel and Florence is approximately 70 minutes away by car. Florence-Peretola airport is around 102 km from the hotel.
Facilities
The beach hotel is a classic example of Liberty architecture and was designed by the famous architects Belluomini and Chini, who are responsible for many of Viareggio's landmarks. Built in 1923, the air-conditioned establishment offers 41 rooms in total and welcomes its guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, currency exchange facilities and lift access to the upper floors. There is also a TV lounge, cafe, bar and breakfast/dining room. Internet access, room service and a laundry service are offered for additional fees.
Rooms
All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning and central heating, a TV and direct dial telephone. Furthermore the new Prestige rooms feature a minibar, LCD TV and a safety deposit box. A king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer also feature in all rooms as standard.
