Just terrible! Definitely not highly recommended! Reception is in the open, and it smells after exhaust gases. Be careful with the geldumtasch, you get 10 cuc less than someplace else! Rooms are in a terrible condition, walls and bathroom is not to describe, so bad! Corridors decorated, the particle board occasionally swollen and dangerous for small children. Beach towels not, constantly put off, problems with the cleaning! Front desk knew nothing about this, has in no way hard, the problem to fix it! The towels from the room i could not, i was forbidden! A special mention for the travel guide on the 2. day we were in … read more

The barlovento is a ageing all-inclusive hotel. The location at the beach and the overall impression were good. We were first allocated room was bad-small, dark, with three windows but a view on a wall into 1 meters away. In addition the toilet flush was broken. The handling with our complaint was almost. They offered us an after a few considerations a different room to, which currently still in the cleaning was. After 30 minutes we could the new room refer it was the opposite the first large, light, with a large windows and a balcony-but we had to our luggage your own … read more

It was simply a stunning vacation! Cuba is a dreamland (we have a 7-day round trip) and the people friendly and accommodating! Also the staff in the Hotel Barlovento was extremely attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is very well-kept and not too big. There are few children in the hotel, which i personally found to be very pleasant. The food and drinks are varied, also the two specialty restaurants are very recommendable. I would not hesitate to in this hotel again my vacation book. … read more
