We stayed at this hotel in November, '14. We were in Singapore for two days and spent a night there. This is absolutely a must hotel to stay at. At $400 a night it is pretty expensive but if you are visiting Singapore you must spend at least one night there. The access to infinity pool alone is worth the price of the reservation! The world's largest rooftop pool is spanning across three hotel towers and opens a spectacular view on Singapore Skyline. My only regret is that we didn't splurge more and didn't book a Club Room that would ... also provide an access to the lounge by the pool area. There are also two jacuzzi style hot tubs across from the pool that came quite helpful as the weather during our first day was rather chilly and rainy. You can also access complimentary sauna from the rooftop. For those that love to gamble there's a Casino downstairs and adjacent to the hotel there's a shopping mall with about 250 high end luxury stores. The food court on the lower level of the mall features various Asian cuisines and surprisingly inexpensive. There's a museum on top level of the mall (with a paid admission). Getting around Singapore from the hotel is pretty easy. There's an MRT station right at the hotel on the lower level by the Casino. You can even take it to the airport on the way back, definitely cheaper then a taxi and not too much hassle at all. Getting to the hotel from the airport you can take a shared shuttle that brings you right to the entrance of the hotel. The hotel staff was really great. We had a 5 hour flight delay and took a late night flight from Hong Kong and arrived at the hotel at 8am. (Thank you, United. It actually worked out for the better since we were able to cancel a one night award stay we booked at another hotel just so we could get some rest since we were originally scheduled to arrive at around 2am). We were hoping to check in and just leave our suitcase with the bell captain. But instead after the receptionist heard our flight delay story she checked us in, gave us keys to our room and told us to go get some rest. This was EXTREMELY nice for her to do that. I would love to go back to that hotel if we ever travel to or through Singapore again in the future. One more thing, even if you don't stay there it's worth visiting hotel's Sky Park located on the rooftop next to the pool for the spectacular view of the city. read hotel review

You have everything you want in this hotel - nothing missing. Great view from the room (sea+hardbour or skyline), 360° great view from the pool in the top, overall cleanness, about 30 restaurants, shopping area with over 200 shops, subway in the area, lasershow every day, great bars on the top... This is an impressive hotel, the building is beautiful and unique. This is a big hotel and we were lucky that we were near the elevators.Rooms are large with huge bathrooms, nice furnished.Get room on higher floor with city view! For me the best of all was the pool area, it is a unique with view all over the Singapore. Pool is huge, there is a lot of sunbeds. The restaurants was very good, and there is a nice party in KU DE TA club with best view of Singapore. I recommend this hotel for those who are ... for the first time in Singapore, but there are more luxury hotels in the area! read hotel review

The hotel is very well located, easy to reach with taxi or bus from the airport. The pool is unique. Since in the pool only hotel guests arrive, this is not overcrowded. The harbor view rooms are cheaper and also have a balcony. The check out process was easy and quick. The breakfast buffet was a great experience and very tasteful and with a great variety. MBS is a absolut place to stay! read hotel review

The hotel itself is impressive and you cant go to Singapore without at least visiting the Marina Bay Sands. The stay was excellent, with the rooms and facilities living up to its reputation. The pool is the real highlight of the hotel and you can certainly get impressive photos and views from it. I would have loved to stay at the hotel for more than 1 night if time had permitted. I would recommend anyone to stay here it was a fantastic experience. read hotel review

It would have been an average 5-star hotel but for the Infinity pool on the 57th floor. The hotel is most checked-in and checked-out hence it looks very crowded. You have to stay in the queue to be checked-in. The receptionists remind you McDonalds staff. They are always in a rush. It looks like the more guests they have serviced the bigger salary they will get. So this is definitely not a hotel for a pleasantly calm and quiet weekend. You have to bear all that inconveniences to get to the pool - the only way to be admitted there. ... That's worth it - the pool is wonderful! While swimming or just walking - as most people do taking as many pictures as they can - you can see skyscrapers and enjoy a remarkable city view from the top of the 57th floor! Moreover the pool itself and the pool area with sun beds are large enough to accommodate all guests without feeling a discomfort. A small tip in the end: if you want a smoking room, please, book the cheapest one. The city view rooms are located on the higher floors but all of them are non-smoking. If you happen to book one of them you'll have either to smoke outside the hotel or downgrade yourself to a cheaper one without any compensation! read hotel review

On one of the most famous hotels in the world one must not say so much. 3 towers, above the sky park with bar, restaurant, huge pool (cold) and hot tubs (nice and warm). If you in a hotel with about 1000 rooms bay must previously be clear, that there are no personal service (such as a mandarin oriental) there. I know many hotels of this size Las Vegas and therefore not expected, that i am 2. day with the name them. Wi-fi is available in the whole hotel free of charge (in the room via lan) and we booked ... with breakfast, in 5 days only once took up, is nothing special. Breakfast buffet is in the lobby of the tower 1. Guests were mixed, mostly asians. The hotel made us nowhere a worn impression, in all of the corners, the we regarded, it looked clean and tidy. read hotel review

Check-in took 3 minutes, was really fast and was very friendly. The room cleaning was also very good. Also very friendly service at the pool, the casino, and room service. In Singapore is generally everywhere very good english. ( if you have ever been in Thailand was: full opposite!)

Very good location and very good starting point for excursions and things to do. Very much is even within walking distance. Singapore flyer course i 10 minutes to foot over a bridge. The gardens by the bay is right 'behind' the hotel and over the bridge in 4-5 minutes. The shops at Marina Bay Sands is a huge! Shopping mall (unfortunately nearly only luxury labels) and directly connected to the hotel and starts a (unfortunately extremely boring and relatively expensive) river cruise, which you could skip, if you hop on-hop off tour makes, for tickets at the singapore flyer to buy can. A zusteigepunkt but is also in front of the hotel. Beach there were no. Is' city break '. For night life one drives ideally located with in Singapore very reasonable taxi to emerald hill road (small side street the orchad rd) and is the number 5 (great cocktail bar), or in the hotel on the roof (as it is but a few sgd more expensive).

  • Room
    6.0

We had a room with a city view, as we over new year's eves and had the fireworks wanted to see. Our room lay in the 37. floor and had therefore almost in front of our nose. The room was in very good condition and a bit worn. Electric curtains, flat screen tv with the display of the room, wi-fi and wired internet access, fully automated minibar - so not remove something you don't drink because it will directly the room will be charged -, saubequemes bed and comfortable heavy thin pillows, large bathroom with shower. There is a kettle and every day free coffee or tea in small einmalportionen. And, of course, as everywhere else in Asien 2 small bottles of water free of charge, because the water you should not drink or brush your teeth are. Ice cubes to cool from outside bought beverages one gets over the room service also free of charge.

  • Sport & Leisure

The sky park with huge pool, which probably world-famous is, is great! But the pool was not very warm, we found it too cold and it was never full. Many have only times the foot reingehalten and then thankfully declined and stay in the hot tubs on the other side of the skyparks increased. From the pool you had a view of the skyline, hot tubs on the gardens by the bay. Beware: here there were signs everywhere with no kids allowed or adults only section. Who travels with children, should itself before the minimum age at the pool etc. Inform and not be disappointed. I found it adults only very relaxing. It is also nice, the pool available only for hotel guests. Visitors for 2 0 sgd per nose on the observation deck. Couches etc. Are in very good condition and not worn.

  • Gastronomy
    5.0

The hotel has and in the stores many restaurants from cheap to expensive. The most favorable possibility to meals is the food court, but for normally food court prices here also very expensive (relatively). In the food court, there are to 90% asian-chinese-korean cuisine, a burgerladen and an italian restaurant. We were in the churrascaria (rodizio) which was very tasty, in the Trattoria mozza and 'coffee and cake time' almost daily in the sweet spot, where a small küchelchen and maccaroons gives (strawberry basil, delicious). The hotel and the shops, it is a little more expensive than outside, like everywhere else in the world. Hotel is always more expensive. Outside on the orchad road (in orchad central) there is a Tony roms. Recommendation for spare ribs food.

The highlight? Of course the pool. It is so, that it, depending on the time of day, is very crowded. We had the one or the other time on free beach chairs are, which of course for such a standard is not common. It was worth it absolutely. The view is breathtaking. The service leaves to be desired, which was probably also because of the many guests. The selection of food at the pool bar is very small.

Not the level, which you so an expensive hotel expect can. Room cleaning was forgotten once. After a complaint but quickly. Also the lining up with the a/check out is cumbersome and could with a few adjustments to be avoided. At the breakfast buffet were some employees were not really motivated, and our table already passed on the buffet were. Speak english all the staff which we met.

We ate the buffet rise in the morning and used in the evening. Large selection of different meals. Unfortunately in the middle of tourist filled hotellobie. This restaurant definitely visit.

The situation is, as almost everywhere in the city, great. Subway is right at the adjacent Marina Mall. Also the taxis, which are very cheap, wait around the clock at the hotel entrance. It is definitely worth it, depending on the destination the metro to use.
