In the hotel english knowledge is urgently necessary. At the front desk you will understand, the conversation with the rest of the staff could at most as babytalk be designated.
There were some friendly staff, but many seemed fairly indifferent. Of our room from we could on a daily basis, that especially to maintain the hotel responsible staff rather siesta held as the work involved. We must systematically the weeds are removed, we did poorly maintained couches seen, the full of bird droppings were.The breakfast was okay, however was through the many guests a proper cafeteria atmosphere.

A very nice hotel not too high built (under the palmengrenze ) with a wonderful pool area (3 pools) in a tropical garden. Enough snack bars and toilets (very clean) and in the new area beautiful wasserpoolbar (for the smokers) for everyone. Drink prices in the hotel unfortunately somewhat expensive. But from 16:00 until 23:00 in different bars happy hour (2 for 1).
To the beach with massages (oil massage 1 hour 300,00 Bath) and gastronomy stands (all around 120,00 Bath) only 2 minutes. Water okay but very lots of people. Money changer on the doorstep and ausflugsbüros, as well as … read more

Hotel was super beautiful and we had the the vacation enjoyed.
Unfortunately there were also some german guests who put their towels some time before on the loungers to have put. The but we quickly changed ☺ … read more

The Merlin Beach Resort is a really beautiful hotel, which for a relaxing beach vacation is good.
Two downsides there is to say:
1. the hotel beach is only to look at, not for swimming. He has a rocky surface, the swimming impossible. At low tide you will have a look on 100 meters rock, to the right sea begins. During my vacation nobody has the beach used.
2. Currently (September 2012) it comes to considerable construction noises. Left next to the hotel another, directly adjacent was hoisted. In the current Rohbauphase the construction noises a couple more months stop. On the grounds … read more

Who a problem with Mosquitoes should the hotel avoid!
Already getting old but nevertheless well maintained. Breakfast was OK but also not the ' Brüllet '.
