We stayed for two nights at the romantikhotel julen and had the room 307, south, direct matterhornblick, at least if the weather is fine.
The check in was friendly and professional. We are by the lady at reception also to the room brought.
The walls of the room are fully equipped with wood panelling. The ceiling is also from wood with embedded spots as lighting. The very comfortable double bed as contrast red framed, the upholstery on the heavy wooden chairs are red and a contrasting color to the red are the curtains green. The first stay 9 years ago ( in the summer 2003) still wow... But today is the competition a lot further. In particular the spa area does not a four-star standard. Poor Maintenance. The instruction a shortcoming in the sink was simply ignored. Breakfast buffet is rather modest. Four star hotels offer usually more. The bathroom was large, with 2 washbasin, a corner bath with shower's wall, large mirror, hair dryer, many bottles ( shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, file, comb, even razor with shaving cream, Shoe shine sponges, bath salts) and always a fresh Rose. We were greeted with 2 apples, 2 oranges and 1 bottle of water free.
