The royal orchid is currently inside and outside renovated. The construction noises is not to be missed.
Breakfast- and dinner buffet there are in the neighboring hotel. The staff were in the restaurant very friendly and accommodating. The food would like something varied can be.
Every evening echos the entertainment from the fitness area ( Zumba) deterring through the whole staircase in the hallways. The door to the fitness center and wellness area always stood wide open. We actually wanted to a hotel with a pool and wellness area. The outside pool was because of the construction works but locked and the … read more

Because i after our complaint because of the noise and the subsequent move to the hotel roca mar (which the royal orchid is) was forced to sign a statement, that i with adoption of the getränkegutscheins and the voucher two massages a 25 minutes no other complaints more going to speak... Gut schwaige's i give mental wordlessly cons! Unfortunately you can minimum 1.0 points...There are two breakfast rooms, which can be used, a is located at the royal orchid and the other at the roca mar next door. In the all in all it is a hotel/complex (together with the hotel rocamar) which in the catalog good to look at and you immediately would book. Amongst others because of its estimated location right next to the steep coast of madeira.
Unfortunately started at the time our stay extensive construction and renovations, so that you in the foreseeable future will only very partially recommend. The work are such (renewal of the balconies...) , i only go to the start of 2014 would book. The staff at the hotel we found than unfriendly and very arrogant. The stay was for us … read more

All are very friendly and willing to help.nullJust great! Large, bright, clean, all device worked, the kitchen was well equipped, beautiful bathroom, great view from the balcony, good water pressure for showering. Just top.The only reason, why I don't 'very good' anklicke is, that the outdoor areas somewhat in need of renovation are: hotelanstrich, loungers, sun screens.
The room was big, bright, clean and wonderful view of the sea!
