Very, very bad!

I would say this is the worst hotel on the Las Vegas strip, especially its wing that faces Flamingo Rd! The noise from clubs and restaurants on that street is very, very loud. I could not fall asleep until 3 AM. I assume the windows are not sound proof. The neighbor room had bunch of drunk males going crazy. I had to call security twice to call them down. To my request to move me to a different room, they said that they can't accommodate me as they are fully booked! They did move me the next day but the ... service, the response and the time wasted on talking to guest service and security, especially when you are there for business is just unacceptable! Needless to say, not going to stay there, even if their new renovated rooms will be at $1 price! read hotel review

Nice, once we got the view we paid fod

I booked a Go Deluxe room with a strip view for a weekend visit. Upon checking in, I was confirmed for a Go Deluxe room and given my room keys. Once heading up the elevator to the floor, I realized the room did not have a strip view. I returned to the very busy check in desk and was informed they were sold out of Go Deluxe strip view rooms but the room I was given was actually more expensive. Telling the woman at the desk, I found that hard to believe, I asked for better accommodations since they were ... sold out of the room I reserved. They offered to waive the resort fee for my stay and get me into a strip view room the next day. Other than this issue, the stay was good. The flamingo is an older hotel on the strip and shows its wear despite the numerous remodelings. You can't beat the location in the heart of the strip and during the summer the pool is a great place to relax. For this visit my wife and I grabbed lunch one day in the food court, otherwise we were out and about walking the strip and exploring. The Go Deluxe rooms are nice. They're intentionally tacky and have that fun feeling to them. The bathroom is large and I enjoyed the oversized shower and TV in the mirror. read hotel review

Nice basic hotel. It's very well located on the Strip. It's in front of Ceasar's hotel and in a very short walk to the most famous hotels in Las Vegas. I didn't spend much time there, cause I choose it just for the location. read hotel review

Cheap Option in Vegas- value for money

As most of the old hotels the flamingo hotel looks already rather used. Some of the rooms on the top floors are new and very nice. however the majority is in a rather bad condition. Nevertheless the value for money is excellent. It is located in the middle of the strip with prices as low as half of the other hotels in the area. read hotel review

A Nicer Room Makes This Hotel Worthwhile

Although the Flamingo is one of the older hotels on the strip, a few extra dollars will get you a renovated room. It was lovely! You can't beat the location. I loved having the monorail right outside the hotel. Check-in wasn't such a great experience. We arrived just a few hours before check-in and we were told that it would cost $20 if we wanted to check-in early!! read hotel review

Location : An excellent location, in middle of strip. Bellagio / Cesar palace is just in front of this hotel Hotel Condition : When we visited the hotel, major construction was going on. Main entrance was closed, Cabs/Taxi could not go upto the entrance of hotel. This was our only complaint Rooms : Excellent size, one wall was made of glass only, awesome views of Strip. I could see Bellagio fountain from my bed :) This was the best aspect of the hotel. read hotel review

Great price for on The Strip

The Flamingo offers a way to stay on The Strip without breaking the bank. It's not one of the newer, more luxurious hotels and it doesn't have a décor theme, but it's adequate for showering and sleeping, which is probably all you'll be doing in the room while in Vegas. Overall, we were pleased with our experience, but I will say that the layout of the hotel can result in a lot of walking -- our room was extremely far from the elevator so it was a long "commute" to an from which got old after awhile. There is a ... mall-type food court on the ground level, which is great for a snack. read hotel review

The Flamingo is centrally located on the strip. Rooms near the elevator may be easier to access but could have more noise from the hallway. The Flamingo is not a fancy luxury hotel. The room quality is worth the cost savings when compared to other hotels on the strip. read hotel review

A quite fancy basic hotel (of course not with the hue heritage in hue Las Vegas to compare), cleanliness and size of the rooms were in order. The staff was friendly so far. However we had breakfast included, and got only a wertgutschein for the 'cafe' in the lobby. For these wertgutschein you got not even a cup of coffee and a sandwich together, so you had to definitely pay a halfway decent breakfast. furthermore, we have a tax will be charged, the actually noisy tour operator already in rate paid at time of booking including should be. The next ... time in Vegas we will probably in another hotel. The location was great, in the middle of the strip! read hotel review
