For family short vacation very good value for money. Hotel consists of an old and a new building.
Part of the restaurant in the new building modern and better. You come from the rooms in the new building right in the sauna-/ bathing area, while one with rooms in the old building the bar and forever far must run.
Staff is very friendly. Guests of all age categories.

Smokers allowed unfortunately in the spacious bar area be smoked. As a non-smoker this disturbed. Otherwise we felt comfortable and would definitely recommend this book this hotel again at any time. … read more

We feel since many years probably in the edelweiss. The rooms are in the last few years renovated and also with older children large enough.
A big plus is the pool and the sauna. The facilities are also for guests usable, not in the edelweiss booked, so that bad weather, as drizzle, also a bit full of can be.
Another plus is especially the location. On foot one is at the valley station. Great, if children are on board. … read more

Pleasant staff, reception, dining room, maidsWe were in room 405 and 406. outstandingly beautiful room, large, clean and with a view to the ski area.
The dining room over many courses, however that didn't bother us.
Sauna and swimming pool could not be better, free drinks.
Staff very friendly, particularly the Stefan (waiters).
Breakfast buffet rich... However, the breads did not taste, butter is probably only a kind of margarine, coffee terrible.
Dinner 4-course menu, salad bar ok, soup good, main course... We had much better. Dessert buffet, rich, but it was usually not so very much.

Personally as a regular guest in the Hotel Edelweiss and working as reiseveranter i can personally in short say:
The family gerber guided hotel is very attractive, the rooms are clean, spacious,
And the staff are very friendly and helpful
It is worth it with half board book in (very good and varied dinner with buffet)
Here you the kitchen really 'spoilt'.
The swimming pool is huge and the entire wellness area or -offer is for the vacation fully sufficient.
