Very sober and unprofessional welcoming at the reception. We had about 20 minutes to wait, although only 1 person in front of us was (cuban driver) as a weirder and intolerable 'administrative' after cuban art operated. The lady could not even speak english and we then went to a mix of ' lumps' of spanish/english/hands and feet.1 main restaurant on the ground floor and another in the basement. We were only 1 night during a round trip in this hotel & pleasantly surprised. The rooms are big, the view fantastic. The food was better than most hotels on Cuba. We were with music and free cocktail received, the staff were friendly. The cocktails in the hotel bar were very reasonable (1.70 euros per cocktail) and very delicious. Of course everything was a bit worn and dated, but that's on Cuba. For a longer beach holiday I would this hotel not recommended, as it is very off the beaten track is. I have the stomach, my wife had luck (they had nothing eaten!). There was far and wide nothing at all, no hotel or restaurant and was still 30 kilometer of Cienfuegos distant. Luckily we were only a night on our tour there. Please avoid this hotel. The tour operators get with me further discussion! … read more
