We were 12 days in this hotel. The staff are very friendly. The cleanliness in the room was a catastrophe, so we from the 2. day no staff in the room let. The 'do-not-disturb-sign' hung permanently on our door. Nevertheless entered you our room, why also always. Of course we have the floor with white towels equipped, not walk barefoot on the dreckteppich to walk. Thus we realized immediately the foreign footprints and complained. I spend a week all inclusive at the Iberotel with my teenage daughter. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Set on the banks of the Nile, the views from our balcony were stunning (just make sure you book a Nile view room). Kettle, fridge and room safe are standard. Clean bed linen and towels every day. The food was excellent with buffet style meals served in the main restaurant. We had lunch at the poolside bar which had a good varied menu. What really makes this hotel is the staff. Friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. They anticipate your every need ... and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely return to this hotel. read hotel review

The Iberotel is located directly on the Nile. You should always rooms with Nile-view. In some spots one noticed, that the hotel is already a bit outdated. Warm water there was only from 6:00 a. m. in the morning. The as a part of the half board offered quality are ok. The guest structure at the time of our stay was very international, mainly the english-speaking world. read hotel review

Directly on the Nile located, Luxor temple is just about 8 minutes walk away. Shops and restaurants in the immediate area. In front of the hotel a variety of egyptians, the unasked services (taxi, horse-drawn carriages and so on.) Offer.

The pool of the hotel is located on a ponton directly on the Nile. Here you can wonderful after the visits relax. However the service also here a bit slow.

The staff in the restaurant emerged as umsatzbremse. It often took a very long time, until we get a order. Best we could with the staff in english communicate, some employees had rudimentary german. The cleaning of the rooms there was no reason to complain about.

  • Gastronomy

The as a part of the half board offered buffets were varied and tasty. The cleanliness in the restaurant was good.

Our Nile-view room had a small balcony and was equipped with all necessary. The cleanliness was ok. As we often very early on the way were, it proved disturbing, the warm water only starting from about 06:00 a. m. available stood.

The transfer took about 15 minutes. The way on footh the city is at the Nile past and takes up to the city center about 15 minutes. The luxortempel is directly on the way. Restaurants are sufficiently in every quality and available. Taxis and carriages are available at any time before the hotel available. To the boat jetty to the translation on the Nile-west there are about 10 minutes on foot.

From then on we had peace before fremdlingen in the room \u263a. When we in the room arrived, we had to us to some extent clean ... bed sheets give, because we have not used bed sheets wanted to sleep. It wasn't beach hotel. So, you should also all strandhotelttypischen expectations at home leave. Nevertheless it is a good starting point, to daily explorations to make. The food is for so many days very monotonous and i looking forward regularly on the breakfast, because when honigbrötchen of you couldn't do much wrong.! Luxor is a very dirty city. However completely Egypt this dirt and trash. Nevertheless it pleased us very well. We knew of the country and could the location already before comparison and on the main focus. Unfortunately, that the egyptians their culture not really honor. A dump after the other, in the middle in the cities and in the temples and museums. It was now my 3. trip through Egypt about holiday check. de. The country i know now quite good and it is now two times something else to look at \u263a.
