Hotel Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa^{(4 stars)}

Very nice hotel somewhat outside of udaipur with a fantastic lake view. The whole ambiance and the furnishings are a Sheraton worthy. The waiters however, there is still in the schulungsphase. The friendly personnel manager had addressed and for any error apologized. The room we had to because of penetrantem stench of paint once change. The interior was very attractive. The view through the glass wall between the bathroom and room was by a defective rolo blocked, which during our 6-day stay not was repaired. C'est la vie. To praise were the boxsprings beds. Very nice, modern hotel in a great building. It is a bit out of the way at the Fateh Sagar lake, with the Tuk Tik about 10-15 minutes to Udaipur centre. Very large selection at the breakfast buffet, great quality, everything there, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, eggs are freshly made as you like them, bacon, jam, bread, rolls, cake... we had a Christmas Eve gala dinner with a superb buffet in the garden, large selection of international dishes, seafood, fish, meat, vegetables and of course also Indian.
