The intercontie has been renovated, I personally liked it renovation not more so, since cold it works. Before the renovation the hotel appeared to be warm and comfortable. The rooms were for a hotel of this class not very clean ( very dusty). We have here already several times and always had a very clean room. Either stood the rooms already very long empty or neglected. Of course, the new atmosphere in the lobby matter of taste. If you use the intercontinental is, finds no hotel to bargain prices. That was clear to us. However: the announced wi-fi on the rooms with 12 to 18 Dollar per day, the parking with 36 Dollar per day will be charged, in addition to a package of 3 $for the room service, the not taken into account was, as well as sales tax and state tax. We were only a day ( overnight stay for following kreuzzfahrt ) but the was good enough to see, that the hotel its 5 stars value is. Nearby shopping mall, multi-storey included various places to eat. Miami Beach was limited didn't use it, but this mall was completely enough for us to Miami-flair aufzusagen. We visited the inter continental passing through after south america and were 11 nights. The hotel is a us-typical business hotel (4 diamonds classification) with roughly 400 rooms. The general spaces are 'inter continental' -default inviting and luxurious. Also the room ('parlor suite') was fine in terms of size and facilities fine expectations - what however not for the tv device applies, in addition later more. The hotel is in the middle of downtown on the waterfront. Guest parking is a bit more than 30 USD (valet), other overnight parking I did not find. The hotel has 34 floors, while I was in the upper renovated. There is a restaurant, a bar, a pool bar at the outdoor swimming pool. An enormous fitness center and SPA. This hotel is ideally located near Miami Beach and in the heart of the shopping district. It borders Bayside Marketplace with its modern shops and restaurants. Wonderful views may be enjoyed out over Biscayne Bay from this exclusive, luxurious city hotel. Links to the public transport network may easily be reached on foot and Fort Lauderdale is around 13 km away.

This fully air-conditioned city hotel comprises 34 floors offering a total of 641 rooms. Facilities include a beautiful, immense pink marble lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange bureau and a lift.
