The Pythagorion is a very central hotel the Best Western chain; it is less than five minutes away from Omonia square. The drive from the airport takes about 1 hour with the metro. Central location means you might be a room facing the busy road receives the the noise. The rooms themselves are about 15 sq. m large ( plus vestibule + bathroom + balcony). Everything is of course clean, but the bathroom feels a bit worn. Towels and bed sheets are changed daily. The air conditioning is in rooms to the south side (=street) mediocre effective. Nice clean city hotel in a central location. Even though it is on a busy street, we could sleep because our room to the courtyard. In the room there is a well stocked mini-bar and a safe with individually controlled code. The breakfast was completely ok. There was: bread, toast, cookies, coffee, tea, oranges for agglomerating, finished orange juice, cheese, sausage, eggs, jam, maple syrup, honey, yoghurt, peaches, figs and olives. The staff was very friendly and helpful; English was no problem. There is a very clean hotel breakfast (7 AM - 10:00) with a reasonable breakfast buffet (cereal, bread, toast, rolls, cheese, olives, jam honey, yogurt, meats, coffee, tea, milk, chocolate and fresh oranges for self PRESSES!! The condition of the room was spotless and the amenities good. A safe is free in the room and the mini bar is well stocked, at very reasonable prices. for example: 0,5 l water, Coke, Sprite, €70 cents, 1 beer 1--€. It is a 7stöckiges building. I would agree with me my predecessor, the rating is a bit out back, but nothing lost becoming obsolete. For me and my wife a nice get away. We can recommend this hotel to anyone. … read more

The hotel is right off the location was good, the nearest metro station is within a five-minute walk. The area for a woman traveling alone especially in the evening wasn't really recommendable. The bathtub was dirty, the bathroom too small. The TV did not work. The minibar was filled enough and during this period, they asked if should be restocked. The alarm clock in the morning worked well, also the called from. To criticize was the view to the backyard. According to the Hotel description "free fruit juice drinks at the bar".
