The service is almost perfect. With english you got along everywhere very well, but in some areas one finds also german-speaking coworkers. Despite the size of the hotel is the service very personally. So, for most occasions at the latest on the 2. day greeted by name. The rooms are as well as the public spaces very clean and tidy.The hotel has ten restaurants, cafes and bars. great design hotel direct sheikh Zayed road. Of the great friendly staff and very helpful ( overall in front of the entrance of the hotel). Large clean rooms. Depending upon in which floor/page you are, it has a fabulous view- overall in the case night. Only our bathroom had minor flaws and unfortunately the shower is not elaborate -in other words, you can sit at the showers the whole bathroom under water. Although rather ordinary compared to all the extravagant hotels in Dubai, the Fairmont was still a very good choice. It's located next to the metro station for those who don't wanna go by taxi everywhere (although it's very cheap) so one has good connections. It's far from the beach though, so if you are in Dubai for that purpose you should look for another hotel. Otherwise everything about this hotel is great...very clean, excellent service, stilishly decorated rooms, exquisite cuisine...and the pool area is very cool...you look over the sheik zayed road and all the skyscrapers along it...All in all … read more

Location
This hotel lies just 5 km from the city centre on the Sheikh Zayed street opposite the World Trade Centre. The hotel's walkway connects directly to the Dubai International Convention Centre. Dubai's International financial centre, the American University in Dubai, Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City are all in the vicinity. It is around a 20-minute drive from the hotel to Dubai International airport.
Facilities
The hotel is a modern, elegant structure, and an integral part of the Dubai skyline. The city hotel was constructed in 2002, renovated in 2004 and consists of a total of 394 rooms. The building is air-conditioned and facilities on offer include a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and lift access. Alongside a bar and a café there is a shop, a nightclub and a hairdresser. The hotel's restaurants provide a wide selection of cuisine created by award-winning master chefs. The conference centre is technically fully furnished and also offers WLAN. Additional amenities include room service and a car park.
