Built in 1861, Hotel Allegra has a classical facade. Nowadays, this modern and friendly hotel combines outstanding service and perfect equipment. Located in the heart of the new Berlin, Hotel Allegra is an ideal starting point for all those who want to explore the city on foot. We offer our guests 78 comfortable rooms with shower or tub, toilet, TV and phone. Two floors are exclusively reserved for non-smokers. The rooms on the upper floor have a magnificent view and are facing the government district. Our hotel is especially suitable for guests suffering from kidney disease. We have a co-operation with a renowned dialysis centre next to the Reichstag (German Parliament Building) which is only a 3-minute walk away. Our main objective is to make your stay in Berlin as pleasant as possible. We will also be pleased to organise events and we provide a theatre ticket service, a wake up call service, a shuttle service, a laundry and ironing service and a secretary service. We can also arrange for flowers, rental cars and free newspapers.  A special highlight is our Wild East Programme. After some brief explanations you can explore the former socialist part of the city with a Trabi, the typical East German car. We may as well arrange for a driver to guide you through the city. The Berlin Wall Museum at Checkpoint Charlie will give you an impression of a city separated into East and West by a wall for a period of 28 years. This is an eventful and historical place, connected to many legends about undercover agents and illegal border crossings.
