As I have made a description of the hotels, unterlasse I had. It was very nice, the staff extremely accomodating and nice. The rooms and the plumbing should now but updating. The food was good quality, but the full English food is just not at all seasoned. There is also Swedish Sider, kind of like a Birnenbier with ice cream, tasted great. Also, there is a great Italian wine from 2005 as special wine the week for 17 pounds per bottle, otherwise 25 pounds. All special requests for extra blankets were dealt with immediately. … read more

This hotel is 5.6 km from Huddersfield, with its railway station, and lies in 1.2 hectares of landscaped gardens on the A640 at Outlane. Guests have good access to the nearby M62 via Junction 23 or 24. Leeds Bradford Airport is just 35 km away.
Facilities
This elegantly designed country hotel is housed in an ageless Yorkshire stone building dating back to 1862 and originally formed part of the Outlane Golf Club. It is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and the interiors capture the atmosphere of decades gone by. It comprises a total of 52 en suite rooms, spread over 3 floors. Facilities on offer to guests include a 24-hour reception, a bar, a restaurant and parking. Guests may also take advantage of the laundry service for an additional fee.
