  The hotel is located in the grandstand of the restored San Pedro bullfighting ring, which was built in the 19th century and last staged a bullfight in 1975. The city centre with its restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shopping venues and links to the public transport network is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

  This hotel is one of the most unconventional hotel establishments in the world. The restoration of the old arena so expertly integrated the old structure of the building into its design plans that the project received the International Architecture Award after the official opening in 1989.
