After we had booked and then read the reviews, we had major concerns, which we would expect as there. But... Was not so-check-in at the hotel in the city center was really fun-the owner turned out to be a very humorous-the guest house-about one-and-a-half kilometer-was far, but there's so much to see in Bamberg, very amusing. As far as the room and service was the most hostel level. There are even in this price range better.
The staff was not helpful, Complaints were wegdiskutiert (you can the rate of cancellations pay and in another hotel). The room a chamber to put things. … read more

Five kilometer away the check in main building was very uncomfortable. The very narrow bathroom are old. Shower doors were very dirty. Mountings out of the wall. Tiles in the shower big holes, so that water can flow behind it. Hot water in the morning and in the evening with long waiting times (up and wait) available. Soap and shower gel are provided in some rooms, some not. The mini bar was not working. Closets were broken. The sheets had holes. The seating were dirty. The beds worn out and worn.
The breakfast in the main building is ok.

For bamberg's a good, cheap 2 star night. The check-in has to be done in five minutes by car or 20 minutes walking distance reachable Hotel graupner old city. The attentive, friendly service at the good breakfast pleased us very much. … read more
