We were vom10 until 14 december 2012 in the ' maalu maalu ', one of the most beautiful new resorts on the east coast of Sri Lanka, the complex is in the small bay from passikudha / batticaloa. Very nice, in the landscape matching houses-reed covered. Clean bright rooms with adjoining large bathroom /toilet and shower. The service is good and the service very friendly. Nice hotel the unspent eastern coast, unfortunately the reef of the tsunami not overcome and it is back again. The consequences of the war in the interior are still obvious. At the eastern coast it is however many quiet and pleasant than in the rest of the country. We would our stay at the eastern coast the next time surely extend, maybe a little further north. … read more
