The staff is really very friendly, spoke good english and took not even tip at.
I was my room shown and the shower explains.I had a breakfast, the for the price of the hotel room and spanish standards was adequate. The breakfast area was actually relatively nice location with window the rambla.The room was small. The shower was actually not bad (a standdusche with jets and radio etc. Unfortunately it was totally furred and was in the area, so that everything after showering was wet.
The toilet was in a small room (the appeared as a closet) and smelled a bit.

All in all, we were very happy with this hotel. The hotel is an outstanding location with the metro station outside the door. The sea was about a 5 minutes' walk away. The hotel is rather small and very familiar. The key every time should be if you leave the hotel at the front desk. Bad was the "bathroom" (if you can call it like that). The toilet was in the shower. The shower was used, we couldn't use the toilet, because then everything was soaked. The bed was very hard. absolutely perfect for a short vacation - we are 2 or 3 times a year in Barcelona and stay here again and again with pleasure. Simple, clean, friendly and accomodating, eager staff. Metro station right on your doorstep. Numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions in the immediate area. If you want to feel the pulse this city is well taken care of here. Those seeking peace should put on the outskirts of town. Not suitable for people with a disability, as the front desk only accessible over steps. … read more

The hostel is literally on the Ramblas. About a stairs you on the first floor and the reception desk. The bottom line is the Hostel alright. The rooms are small, but very clean, as well as the sanitary facilities. The staff was friendly and professional, the usual tourist questions for the reception no problem. The breakfast was a bit sparse, but basically something for everyone. The advantage of the location is really central but also a disadvantage. Our stay was convenient.
