Due to the numerous positive reviews in the various online forums we opted for this small guesthouse in the heart of the old town of kaleici. We were thrilled by the first clean and quiet area with a nice pool. The front desk was very welcoming and we felt immediately. Unfortunately for some unknown reasons but during our stay the and helpful hostess 'replaced ' by inexperienced to partly rude staff.     The charming historical hotel is located in the historical part of Antalya city known as Kaleii or 'Inner Bailey'. This area has lots of narrow cobbled streets and is in an elevated position above Antalya's pretty harbour and close to Hadrian's Gate, which dates back to Roman times. Antalya's modern facilities with excellent shopping, bars, restaurants and nightlife are just a short stroll away. Guests will find links to the public transport in the immediate vicinity, the beach a 3-minute stroll away and Antalya Museum approximately 3 km from the hotel. The ancient city of Perge is a 25-minute drive from the hotel, while Termessos is around 45 minutes by car. Antalya Airport is approximately 10 km from the beach hotel.
  • Facilities
    This charming hotel has been lovingly restored from two buildings on a registered historical site. Named after a large rubber tree which sits in the garden, its owners brought in special craftsmen to restore the wood and iron work in 2009. There is a paved garden with small pool and a beautiful courtyard. The interior is furnished with antiques and local craftwork. The historical hotel offers 11 guest rooms and facilities include a lobby with currency exchange facilities, Internet access and a laundry service (fees apply).

    Each room has its own individual style and is comfortably furnished with wooden carved ceilings and special artefacts, all reflecting the history of the two houses that they once were. Each room features an en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a double bed, direct dial telephone, Internet access, a safe and minibar and individually regulated air conditioning and heating.

    Guests may take a dip in the heated outdoor swimming pool or relax by the poolside snack bar using the sun loungers and parasols laid out for use. There is also a sauna. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired for a fee on the rocky beach.
