The hotel spans several of the old buildings and is therefore fairly encapsulated. The elevator only goes to the first floor; after that, you have to use the stairs. Condition and cleanliness were okay everywhere. The guests were of all nationalities and age groups. read hotel review

We got a very reasonable offer on a booking site. So we could not expect to get the best of rooms. Consequently, we were accommodated on the highest floor. The windows hardly opened due to scaffolding on the front side of the building. Therefore, we were a bit disappointed at first. But a glance into the bathroom reconciled us. It was not very large, but sufficient and – most importantly – newly renovated. At least that is how it looked. It was bright, inviting, and very clean. The fixtures were especially shiny and without any lime deposits. The room itself was well furnished and had sufficient storage space. Since we did not plan on spending too much time in the room anyway, the lack of a view did not really bother us. Those who who have higher standards, however, should be sure to book a room facing the Canal Grande.

Two (identical) breakfast buffets were set up. One was located in the rear of the breakfast room and one in the front area including the terrace. This allowed the guests to spread out, and there was no pushing and shoving. The buffet in the front area (in the direction of the Canal Grande) was not very large, but sufficient. By Italian standards, the selection was also good. It was, however, repeated every day. But it is okay for a couple of days.

The staff at reception and the front desk were very friendly. Room cleaning was good. We had no complaints, so we cannot evaluate this matter.

The hotel is right next to the Rialto Brdige, which is simply great. When the weather is good, as it was for us, you can breakfast outdoors and enjoy the view of the bridge. But even from the front breakfast room, there is a view of the Canal Grande and the bridge. Bars, restaurants, and shopping facilities can be found in the immediate vicinity of the hotel – a bit more expensive than the ones farther away, of course. The ‘Rialto’ station on the Vaporetto line is only few meters away. Thus it has both a good approach from the airport and good access for exploring Venice. From the early morning until late in the evening there is a lot going on around the Rialto Bridge – and thus around the hotel. Therefore it is particularly suitable for guests who like it a bit quieter. Still, we enjoyed our stay there very much.

We were recommended the hotel. However we were very disappointed. We got a room somewhere on the last floor. After countless steps we are in a dark chamber landed. When we the shutters opened, we looked on a scaffold with the reference, carefully, here being worked on. Also the light was broken. We complained immediately and got then a different room, if also not very friendly. You could also in the evening not included in the property the toilet use, as this was blocked warranted. The porter said, at this time, you can only in the room to the toilet. ... We had in any hotel. The only positive is the location of the hotel. read hotel review

This year we were (my wife and i) for the 2. time in this hotel rialto. All expectations were without restrictions met. The exposed location right next to the rialto bridge has large benefits, because one in the hotel well can withdraw, very recommendable and good contact possibilities, as a free wi-fi internet connection is provided! read hotel review

On the recommendation of friends we booked this hotel, disappointed we were not. It is located directly at the stop rialto, the traffic route is thus great. Because this city should be, we were just right, the sights were in a radius of 5 kilometer. Our double room was clean, venetian furnished and had a small flat screen tv with ZDF. The bathroom was clean, large shower, bidet. Soap, toothpaste, sewing yarn and so on were made available. The breakfast was sufficient, desserts, different brotssorten, two sorts of cold meat and cheese and plenty of cereal and fruit. A pot ... of coffee is free. The only thing, for which the hotel nothing could, was, that we with our room to a small sidestreet were, in which it was quite noisy. One night the street completely ripped will, as raw relaid were, the night we did not sleep the bohrgeräusche. Since we are in a period after the flood in the town were, everywhere the planks, very loud nachklangen, if anyone ran. Thus view and location of the room was a disaster. All in all it was really great with small defects, we were however very comfortable and had some nice days. We would recommend it! read hotel review
