  Vacation rental Piè di Costa is the ideal place to spend a holiday in Tuscany in every period of the year. Thanks to a height of 270 meters above sea-level, the climate is not so hot even during summer holidays, thanks to the winds which come from sea. However, it is possible to have a bath and swim in the swimming-pool of the vacation home, which is placed in the olive-grove near the house; from here, it is possible to admire the very beautiful landscape of the Tuscany countryside and the hills which overhang Florence.

  Holiday home Piè di Costa is located in Tuscany, in the heart of the green hills of Chianti. It is located only 500 meters far from the village of Montaione, an old and typical little town of Tuscany situated in the province of Florence. Thanks to a favourable geographical position, Montaione is the right place where to stay for those who love a cultural holiday to reach from here the most important cities of art of Tuscany, like Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa (which are 50 kilometers far from vacation home Piè di Costa) and San Gimignano and Volterra; it is possible to reach these two cities by car, in about 30 minutes.
• Accommodation
  Vacation home Piè di Costa is an old farmhouse of Tuscany, whose restructure was finished in 1999 and which was divided in 5 apartments, that are at your disposal for your holidays. Our apartments were made in order to satisfy all the needs of our guests and to make their holiday in Tuscany more pleasant. Apartments Mimosa and Girasole are suitable for those who want to spend a holiday with their family and children, apartment Iris is suitable for two couples of friends while apartments Ginestra and Gelsomino are an ideal place for those who are looking for a romantic apartment and a romantic holiday. All the apartments have one or two bedrooms with one or two bathrooms, as well as a kitchen and an external and private area.
• Other facilities and services
  Near the house there is a laundry with slot- washing machines and a table with flat-iron, while in the garden there are some barbecues that all the guests can use in order to eat peacefully in the open, using the tables and beach-umbrellas which are in the garden and near the swimming-pool. Every apartment has its own external area equipped with table and chairs where you can relax yourself and enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the countryside of Tuscany and the view on the Chianti hills in privacy. The garden all around the house is big and enclosed, so that the children can play safely and you can have the possibility of eating outside, using the barbecues which are at your disposal. In the olive-grove near the house there is a swimming-pool (5x10 meters) with a big solarium, with shower, deck-chairs and beds and typical beach-umbrellas, from which there is a beautiful view on the Chianti hills and the mountains that overhang Florence. Furthermore, there is a reception service, so that you can get as soon as you arrive the most important information about Montaione and Tuscany: you can get small maps, information about the services of Montaione, the supermarkets and the best local restaurants. Inside the apartments (as well as in the garden and near the swimming pool) is available a wireless service through which you can surf internet with your computer, simply asking at the reception the user name and password to access the wireless network. At vacation home Piè di Costa it is possible to taste the genuine produce of Tuscany , like Chianti red wine, white wine of the Florentine hills, olive oil as well as the fruits which grow in our garden.
