We were first time on the Maldives, and can only say it is a dream. Staff room and food great. We felt from the first minute on well. Thanks to the staff, the was very nice. read hotel review

We had a beach villa. The villas are really big and in good condition. We had during our stay in-room wi-fi. Our booking included half board. Us much especially the number of guests from the asian area. It seems this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, since, in accordance with the employees, the length mostly on 2-3 days limited. Therefore tried all day long with camera and tripod on the island around for the best, the photos included. This can for europeans strange and was not always very pleasant. read hotel review

    Since we had booked half board, the breakfast and the dinner in the buffet restaurant 'vela' instead. The location of the restaurants is for us absolutely not understandable. There is no view of the sea. We are of the opinion, that this is a 5 star restaurant, with this situation a nogo is. The breakfast can on the terrace of the restaurants' turquoise ', which is right next to the' vela ' is, be purchased, this has to be but every morning explicitly when entering the restaurants say. We found in addition, that the 'vela' always was very loud. The architectural construction leaves some left nothing to be desired. Because of the asian guests, the buffet was almost exclusively on your culinary preferences aligned. Whoever typical maldivian specialities food, we can only advise the staff to report. We want us at this point thanks to the manager of the restaurants nazir thanks. Together with his very professional and attentive service understands it to fulfill the guests' wishes.     The service in this hotel is really commendable. We felt from the first moment on (transfer to the hotel) very well cared for. The staff is extremely friendly and forestalling. However, noticed, that the friendliness and hospitality especially to the staff from india, sri lanka and the maldives limited. There was staff from europe, us much but on, that preferred this the guests from their own linguistic area looked after. With complaints the staff extremely competent and professional around. Solutions are within short time presented. All in all the 5 stars for the service absolutely right.

    The hotel has a fitness centre, the usual equipment contains. The center is air-conditioned and small water bottles are also available. Unfortunately, there was no desinfectant for the equipment. We find the just disgusting and the equipment before and after use each best even cleaned. Furthermore, much us up, that many beach chairs were defect at the beach and in a really bad condition. So if you want a deluxe bungalow (the garden of the hotel) had booked, the can a long time on the search at an appropriate beach chair at the beach to find. The pool may be on the 1st view look nice, but it lacks a pool bar (in the water) and the beach chairs were very close together. Not understandable for us, all the more the lying close beach was very long, to reach the sea. The pool couches are served. This means you can get food and drinks. What is lacking in the sun lounger. We have really missed and we are such a service in the 5 star area used all the more the management always eager is, the use of the guests suggest.     Beachfront villas are, as mentioned, very nice and clean. But we had to change the room, as we were on the 1st room, especially on the beach very many mosquitoes had. The hotel is daily with specially smoke fogged, is the but not really what to have. Otherwise the rooms are really like in the description of hotel read. Also the cleaning was very good, and we had to really make an effort to our room boy in the 2 weeks once to meet him a tip at present. Unfortunately, the air conditioning but very noisy. Free wi-fi internet access is pretty much on the whole island. The speed was about 0.4 megabyte/s downloadrate and 1.10 megabyte/s uploadrate. Not the brüller, but the connection was always reliable.     The island is located in the northern part of the south malé-atolls. The hotel is about 500 metres away from the island. A hearty fun for the whole family ☺ to the steep prices: an hour glasbodenkajak (2-sitzer) costs gross 5 9.40 $and 30 minutes jet ski (2-sitzer) costs gross 2 07.90 $. But at least the rental for the snorkeling equipment free of charge. Further offered water sports are, of course, diving, windsurfing, kite surfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, catamaran sailing, fun tubes, bananaboot and deep-sea fishing. Otherwise there was still a fitness center, Tennis (equipment against fee) and table tennis.

    The staff is very friendly. No matter, whether gardeners, service, chef or sports-employee. They always had a nice welcome. Often, you asked, if everything is okay. To the fremdsprachenkenntnissen i can only say, that english fitnessman should. German is not spoken at all and understood. Since we were here in the indian ocean are, apart from that the service was perfect and the island apparently rare german vacation makes, i would like to this but not 'sun' in assessing skin. The room cleaning was excellent. Twice daily (with 9:00 a. m. and 6:30 p. m.) the roomboy and erledige efficient and thorough his work. Very positively to mention i would like, that the cleaning staff on the first day to us came and asked us, when we right, that he cleaned the room ☺ the deadline was always on time complied with. In the restaurant (we were always only in the main restaurant 'vela') was from the service was also nothing to complain about. The drinks come in a very short time and the staff was very attentive.     We had a free standing beach villa directly at the beach. We have even from the bed from the beach and the sea can see (room 201). Due to the vegetation can other beach villas but the view of the sea is not so good. Our villa was very stylish and had a fantastic bathroom ( indoor shower, outdoor shower, huge bathtub, very modern and luxuriously furnished) otherwise there were in the room a comfortable king-size bed, minibar, wine fridge, iPod-station, dvd player and a huge tv. Unfortunately only a german transmitter (Deutsche Welle), but who does get the tv in the Maldives. You can relax in the emergency dvds (or to take home). We had the entire villa wlan reception, even on the beach chairs at the beach.

    Here is, despite the small island, much was offered. There is the main restaurant 'vela', in which you both breakfast, and lunch and dinner. On the other there was also asian, mediterranean and international à la carte restaurants and a snack bar by the pool. The first night we were in the 'vela' and the buffet (international) so thrilled, that we the à-la-carte restaurant didn't visit (although we made). There is a considered choice of starters, main courses and desserts. I have already larger buffets seen, however, the quality of the individual meals important, as a half-hearted mass preparation. Every day there was fresh fish, beef, chicken, lamb, chicken, turkey etc. Because of the Maldives there was only fish ☺ i thought, that especially the chicken always excellent prepared. My girlfriend was very impressed from the lamb. The other restaurants i can, as i said, not tell too much about it, since we didn't visited.

A fantastic island nearby the island male location. Short transfer time with the speedboat! Tastefully decorated bungalows and villas with much attention to detail. Several restaurants offer a excellent cuisine, that leaves nothing to be desired. Wonderful for snorkeling-the coral reef is just a few meters away from the beach. read hotel review
