Simple, friendly, clean, quiet, good place to stay with enough breakfast buffet, for modest claims. Nice setting, walk or cycle through the beautiful landscape.

For a visit to the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg we had selected this hotel. Have booked a package deal for 99 €(two nights with breakfast included a master dinner).
The front desk was very friendly, the dinner in the restaurant was excellent (à la carte as well as the Master dinner!), the staff are very friendly.
The breakfast, as advertised emsländisches buffet breakfast, is OK, but nothing special. It is a plate of sausage, a plate of cheese, bread rolls, bread, boiled eggs, cereal, jams, honey, orange juice, coffee, cucumber and tomato. As said: OK, but what is typical emsländisch? … read more

On my Pfingstradtour I stayed overnight at the hotel. I did not arrive 10 minutes before my call to check if a room would be available. Check in was very friendly, courteous and without any problems. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. As well as the bathroom. They have everything you need. The bike could in a garage. The hotel's restaurant I ate well and on my martini the dessert was without problems.
