We visited the hotel for a short break on Texel. Altogether we were satisfied. Only the value for money very borderline. We had a suite and got the romantic suite under roof. Very comfortable furnished. What we found annoying, this small separate toilet, access over bedroom. No good solution.
The hotel is in a very good location. Shops, pub etc. Everything in the immediate area. It can at the weekend at night but also already times louder.

For three days we had a room type R (romantic attic room) booked. It consisted of getenntem bedroom and living room, very small bathroom, separate WC tiny, the bedroom to enter is, not a good solution. Otherwise, the rooms were nicely decorated, nice sofa, comfortable bed, flatscreen TVs two, small kitchenette. Everything was clean and tidy. Check-in and staff was easy and friendly. Price/performance ratio OK. Downside: the breakfast buffet in the on-site restaurant. Rustic atmosphere, no table cloths, trays like in a cafeteria. We were very friendly way by a German-speaking lady at the hotel reception explained us everything we needed, the room key handed us and then asked to pay directly, where we had no problem - that's a matter of opinion. Then she emphasized again that we should call complaints directly. The room was cleaned "invisible", d. H. we saw cleaning person at any time, but the room was properly prepared in the afternoon. Recommend the rooms with sauna. Very large room with a direct view on De Koog. You around the hotel has everything that you need. From the supermarket to leisure facilities to restaurants and bars. The staff was always very nice and endeavored. We will definitely be back. … read more
