Very comfortable hotel (not too big not too small), local construction, very good condition and clean. Wi-fi (unfortunately) only for a fee (i think 30 minutes / 3 Euro ) not anymore! Guest structure was mostly german, swiss, dutch. Mostly medium to retirement age (very few families with children) (at least in summer). There are a few parking places at the hotel around (a little tight) and an underground car park for an additional fee. read hotel review

There is a very cozy and newly decorated restaurant, with a conservatory, in the summer you can here the doors open, which was very pleasant. In front of the reception there is also a bar or the like. Which was not in operation. Cleanliness in the restaurant was at all times immaculate. The kitchen style is inspired by the upscale cuisine. There was (half board) breakfast as usual (small sausage/cheese, various breads and rolls, cereal, jams, fruit, eggs, partly cakes, juices, coffee, tea etc. ) a bit more choice and variation meats and cheeses, perhaps a little bacon would be nice, but otherwise nothing to complain about. Dinner in menu form (3 choices including meal without meat). Soup, starter, salad, main dish, dessert (partly buffet). Also possible gala dinner and bar-b-que (there was music from the grandson (?) on the accordion, very nice). All in all the meal was good, however there were for some 'young man' the portions a bit small. But since demand, whether's enough, there was also still consulting, if you wanted. The beverage prices are still acceptable (1l mineral water €4.40)

The front desk and the supervision over the whole week was very friendly and courteous. We would like to express our very likeable boss thanks. They always tried, make the guest feel comfortable! The service in the restaurant was also immaculate.

  • Location
    5.0

Location on the outskirts of Mayrhofen, circa 200m from main road (but hardly hear) and about 5 minutes to foot (in the summer without boots) to the center or to the gondolas. In the winter but (from our point of view) with skimontur but a bit far, then recommends the ski bus, the at the main road is. The rest of the situation is, of course, as in the mountains presents: the Zillertal is beautiful! Here (in the summer) for hikers, bikers, etc. very much was offered. On the main road. Toward the center of the village there is a bus and train station, from which one many excursion possibilities.

  • Room
    4.0

Condition of the room 109 ok. Rustic decor, but the good condition (except for the table, the cancels almost together). Size also okay. Room with double bed, a pull-out armchair as auxiliary bed (maybe for normal persons not suitably, for children of ok), small vestibule with eckbank and table. 2 (!) tv 1 time living room (sufficiently large flat screen tv) and seating area (the old crt). The bathroom was big enough and well furnished and clean. There were also (at least in summer) bathrobes and slippers available. Unfortunately the location of the room (probably north-west, direction main road) not very special. View on a dark hill and power lines. However, we were this room in this summer but pleasant, because with 39 °c in the shade you were glad, if no sun all day came into the room. But there are much nicer rooms or were. Thus with the booking be careful. Especially in the winter one has nevertheless gladly south orientation. Cleaning and cleanliness in the rooms and the whole house without complaints.

  • Sport & Leisure
    6.0

There is a table tennis. There are also bicycles lent. On the ground floor there is a very nice pool with water jets and small waterfall, in a conservatory attached. In summer, this open, and you have access to a small garden with pool chairs, umbrellas and fountains. (when fully booked the pool chairs a bit more). In the basement there is a beautiful, modern sauna, and relaxation.
