The hotel actually consists of a complex of four related: grand palladium Riviera, white sands, colonial and kantenah. As you as a guest in one of the hotels the grounds of all four with use, the hotel is really huge. The tut but the sophistication not detract from our stay. The property has a private, long caribbean sandy beach, otherwise the rooms are in so called villas. There are both paved ways, as well as jetties by the remaining jungle to the pools …  read hotel review

Unfortunately bad hotel management. I find it really hard this hotel to evaluate, as i only criticism of the hotel management can attach. And there are unfortunately no own rubik with holiday check. We were already in the dominican republic at the grand palladium babaro. For this reason we have made a conscious decision to this hotel decided. We were a party of eight adults with one in a wheelchair. Ramiro at the front desk greeted us and made us feel very welcome the moment we arrived. Hotel services were awesome in that they were just a quick call away to pick us up including the wheelchair and bringing us wherever we needed to go. The drivers were very helpful in loading and unloading the wheelchair. The resort was awesome, the food very good and all staff very helpful and friendly. We greatly enjoyed our stay at this resort and would return in a heartbeat. read hotel review

Beautiful resort! Very friendly employees! Juan greeted us when we first arrived and we saw him frequently during our vacation. He remembered who we were and was always greeting us with a smile! He drove us to a party at the salt water pool and made us laugh the entire time. He did a fantastic job! All employees were very friendly but something about Juan stood out above and beyond. We can't wait to come back again. This resort is very clean and we felt very safe. We were comfortable enough to let our kids walk back to the room ... alone. We only had 1 slight problem. We paid extra for an ocean view room. But come to find out there are very few ocean view rooms. The problem we were told is that years ago the trees were smaller so the rooms did have ocean view. Now that trees have grown taller, there is no view of ocean. Due to the large number of guests that were visiting, we were unable to get an ocean view. It ended up being fine as we were pretty much only in the room to sleep. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was amazing! Food is very good! One of my kids is a very picky eater and was satisfied eating pizza and french fries! Large variety of foods. Other guests were very friendly.     We stayed at the resort during our entire visit. We stayed in building 62 which was very close to the salt water pool and the beach. Appeared to have lots of excursions if you were interested.

    Excellent!! The pool was awesome! There were lots of activities in the pool (water polo, aerobics, games, etc). What was really nice is that the pool is so large if you did not want to participate there was plenty of area to still swim without being disturbed by the activities. Free Wifi was available in the lobby.

    Room was large. 2 Double beds with sitting area and balcony. Room seemed to be very updated. Great bathroom! We were supposed to get ocean view but did not because trees have grown so tall. Not worth paying extra for ocean view, unless you want to look at trees!

We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and professional everything was. The staff is very well trained and most speak good English (much better than my Spanish). We had one bartender in particular (Jeovanny) that was so helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to be sure we had everything we needed each evening. The personalized service and overall quality of all the restaurants was fantastic. We look forward to staying again soon. read hotel review

It was an absolute dream vacation! A beautiful large well-kept area with a very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was unfortunately, that in the restaurant the dirty table cloths not always been replaced are. Otherwise was really everything top! read hotel review

On 09 november 13 we arrived after 30 hour journey finally at the airport Cancun at. The hauliers of the tour operator Alltours no trace. After a 3/4 hour in the heat over, then finally the driver, and drove us to the hotel. There erbat to outrageous fashions a tip for its too late. The check-in took about half an hour. Since in the hotel no one spoke german and we only the famous' little words' can, designed the check in a bit harder. Then we were greeted with a car to our room. In the brochure, in the lobby ... wi-fi is available ☹. It was every evening a disaster at all only to the internet and sometimes has already a half hour, in connection with the dearest at home to be able to pick up. Skype was almost impossible. For very heavy rain it rained in the lobby through the roof. We were in the evening in the lobby and the live music listened. But beware! They should at the waitress blanca force, then get their drinks even. Either we were greeted by their very ignored, or took our order and brought something else or they took our order and was not again. The area is so huge, that you could stay at the best with the so-called trains through the area drives. We have 2 days used, for getting around. Is completely overtaxed the hotel in bad weather, as too many guests use the service, the room, or went to other hotels to. And then you can only wait, wait, wait. During our stay, there were about 8-10% germans in this location, otherwise mostly americans and others. read hotel review

    The rooms were already relatively worn. The mattresses and pillows feel, as straw. For the price we had a flat screen tv expected, but it was an old tube... But that didn't bother us, since we anyway never were in the room. Very pleasant was the bath with jacuzzi. The air-conditioning cooled the room down. We just turned on, so that we the outside noise from other guests after midnight and morning from 6:00 a. m. not hear. The rooms are so damp and musty, the we at home all things had to wash, because this moldy smell. I have 8 hours before takeoff my jeans from the, from the journey here, which on the safe was. She was covered with white mold/mildew. So disgusting i have never experienced. The room was cleaned sporadically. Some really clean, the other only the tip and the comforter on the bed. The minibar was daily refilled. The picked kamilletee and sugar but only after 10 days. The size of the room was sufficient.

    The beach of Riviera is not to use. The entering into the water it was very stony and who already times in the dominican republic was, the is also the beach disappointed, as we. Beach chairs are enough on site. On the beach there is a small restaurant/snack bar, where you everything à la carte (fast food) the card can be ordered. And then it means again wait, wait, wait... Depending on what you order, can it already 30-45 minutes... Really sad! Sports/entertainment etc. We didn't use. On Riviera beach there was a shower, the in the wind someplace else was full... :-) Walk rather further to the beach from the kantenah... It is far more pleasant...

    The food was ok. One always finds something. However, i found the big restaurant was rather uncomfortable. The meat was mostly dry... Too late, we have noticed, that you meat after choice, fresh and saute can... Very delicious! We still have the japanese restaurant... Also highly recommended and the steakhouse was so ollalah... But verhungern one was, because the selection is enormous. The staff was very hard, the tables quickly.

    The service at this hotel know clear deficit. I do not know, as it is, but on holiday i have the feeling to be welcome, which is not the case here. As already mentioned: german nobody could. The pool bar opens 10:00 a. m. and around 10:10 a. m. then the bartender and ignored 5 minutes the present guests to refill bottles... This is something i do not do! Since i go again! The price of the hotel is available in no relation to the service. The hotel deserves no 5 stars! The service suffers from the size of the area! And a note to the topic of service! On 24-11-2013 we should be around 2:45 a. m. in the early again fetched, the transfer to the airport. Than 3:30 a. m. still nobody was, we have the reception desk asked, the tour guide from Alltours from the bed to ring. Since we had to before sign something, the costs for the phone call to Mexico accepts. That is not at all! What has this to do with service! So we then 110 pesos for the call paid.

    From the airport to the hotel it was about 85 kilometer. Before the hotel a sammeltransport (about 14 seats) and As you can cheap to Playa de Carmen drive... For shopping and nightlife. Excursions you should in any case! Because the pyramids and cenote snorkeling are worth seeing. The hotel area was beautifully designed... Especially the way the top of the beach is impressive... Including the meerespools. There is also the boat, which the individual elements to the lobby or restaurant runs... Very romantic!

We really enjoyed the resort, their was 2 shows per night, all of them very good. The food was super good all over, never got a bad meal. One staff member (memo) did an outstanding job in all the shows and the activities. The whole resort is spotless, staff is working daily to pick up and to make sure that all is good. It is a hotel, the circa the german 4-star use is. The biggest complaint is the sofa bed, on which 3. person must sleep-unacceptable. The rooms should be sold be renovated, but are in good condition. The staff is very friendly, even if our sofaproblem could not solve. Commendable is definitely the very good food. Especially the japanese, mexican, texan (? Steak), and in the ribs and more it tasted very good us, but also the buffet in the Riviera lobby was great. The gym is well-equipped, and the service efficient. On the beach there are two sections especially good ... for bathing are, furthermore, he is very well maintained and you had a lot of space to spread out. Only the loungers are a bit uncomfortable but bearable. We went on three excursions: * chichen itza via rep booked 75 Dollar per person, including lunch. It was a lot of money, if you completely costs * ruins of Tulum by taxi (circa 25 Dollar per drive and 4 Euro entrance-very lohnenwert ). * we have also a morning in Playa de Carmen spent. You can really good shopping. In the face of the balance sheet it was a great stay on the sea front with nice people, good food, as well as a few crops highlights, you definitely should carry forward. Tip: - room book, which was not on the streets of the hotel is, as it was very noisy - the internet works better in the colonial and katenah lobby and in Riviera lobby read hotel review
