Not recommended! There were actually only russian, the loudly and actually the ganten day only drank. We needed 10 minutes and 100 steps to our room! The pool area was also totally off the mark: broken beach chairs and umbrellas! Very large hotel, with many rooms! The food was awful! read hotel review
  • Gastronomy

Awful! The food was inedible! Neither the breakfast, or dinner! The coffee was awful, no reasonable rolls/bread, square jam, the eggs were disgusting! Even the drinks (that you had to pay!) Were watery and with little taste! Stay away! We had booked all inclusive, we would have liked to death annoyed!

  • Service
    4.0

Staff was friendly, but hardly english or german was understood. Were however diligent.

Right on the main road! No restaurants or bars in the area! No direct beach location! Without a rental car you can not do!

  • Sport & Leisure

Broken umbrellas, broken lounge chairs, water full of chlorine.

The hotel itself is really nice. But the location is not really ideal. The hotel is located on the slope between Chersonisos and stalia. To both towns you need to walk between 25 and 30 minutes. Internet connection is modest, wi-fi is available in the lobby and free, fast but what else. A variety of eastern european guests and whose behavior we found as not so great. The volume we found even disturbing. Most of the staff was friendly and spoke a little german, but with english you could communicate very well. An older waiter is probably to the cellar ... to laugh. The food was not very varied, but always fresh. The room was big enough and cleaned daily. It was an old tv available, but we didn't use it. The two sandy beaches near the hotel, it took around 10 minutes. The beach at the hotel Nana Beach (down the hill, on the main street and then just returned from) is overcrowded, a beach chair and an umbrella cost each 5 Euro! This beach did not please us at all. We therefore voted in favour of the smaller beach (slope down, on the main street and then about 300m to the left) decided. That was super! A pool chair cost €2.50 and an umbrella 2 Euro. read hotel review

There is a dining room, the sometimes stuffed was full. The food was not varied, but the quality is absolutely ok. Drinks for self tap were, for breakfast three different juices, coffee and tea, fresh bread and rolls, sausage, cheese, chocolate cream, honey and jam, but only twice in two weeks fried eggs and bacon :-(. The waiters did their best, to keep the tables clean and clear away. For lunch and dinner, there were local beer, weisswein, red wine and no name sodas, they were very sweet, but we had already worse drinks. The number of greek food in two weeks on 10 fingers count, a big minus! Tzatziki for example did not give it at all!

The staff was predominantly friendly, only an older waiter was really unfriendly and we think (to have understood we didn't), it has more than once over the guests scolded. The staff spoke broken german, but with english you could almost with each informing. Daily room cleaning, towel change several times a week. Hotel has no entertainment :-) and therefore also no children care. We had no complaints, other guests already, as far as we can tell, was cared for.

Both beaches you need about 10 minutes. To the airport it was approximately 40 kilometer, the journey time is because of the pick-up of other guests in other hotels along the coast about 1 hour. The two adjoining cities chersonnissos and stalia are 25 to 30 minutes, where you can find great restaurants, cafes and many shops. Trips could be booked with the tour operator or private in two adjacent cities book (but only sometimes in german).

No animation available, that you know before. The saltwater pool is absolutely great. Always clean and we also never had: we always got for 4 people at any time of day free beach chairs and umbrellas! The beach chairs have their best time sadly behind and should be replaced. The beach at the hotel Nana Beach was crowded and not nice. The smaller beach towards chersonnissos was very nice. Tip: we stayed in chersonnissos (go xplore ) a quad safari booked. 4,5 hours by the ' wild ' Crete. 4 people (2 adults, our 15 - jährige daughter and our 8 - year-old son) for 190 Euro, the absolutely worth the money (www. Goxplore. Blogspot. Com)! A trip to knossos to cradle of europe is for culture lovers a must (about TUI 135 Euro ).

The room was big enough with a separate bedroom for the children. Our terrace was however for 4 persons was much too small and perhaps also only 3 chairs available :-(. The mattresses were hard, but in the middle worn. Air-conditioning free of charge, refrigerator against a fee. Safety deposit box in the lobby for 10 Euro / week, but a bit small, our videokamara fit as didn't fit in. The bathroom was large enough and clean.

We found the hotel for the price absolutely correct and quiet. While we were there, there were mainly russians. The hotel can nothing for the behavior of its guests. The staff was always friendly to us. Some also spoke very good german, with english you but everywhere. The food was ok, unfortunately everything only in the week change. The room was quite large and always clean. Towels were changed even more often than advertised. Tv very small and only ARD, but we are also not for television looking old. The music was for us personally nothing and usually also too ... loud. The public bus service is very good, only the slope and about 50 meters to the right (after Heraklion or Agios Nikolaos depending on the time of the day all 15-30 minutes). Down the road are 2 supermarkets. There are two sandy beaches in the vicinity, a small (with waves) for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella 6,50 Euro and the larger the hotel Nana Beach (absolutely calm water), the 1 5 €requires. To the rooms one comes only over stairs is therefore not suitable for handicapped people. read hotel review

+ for self-employed activity, in this case motorcycle tours every day, good base with friendly staff. Beach holiday-makers must stop the hillside location and the walk to the water accept; advantage of the slope: the view. read hotel review
