The Hilton is about five miuuten on foot from the train station milano central, right from the airport and with international trains to reach is. The train station has two subway-lines, the cathedral, but it is on foot rather far (30 minutes), but it was only a few stops away with the subway. The hotel is already somewhat outdated, has no pool, only a rather small fitness center, which but sufficient is. Great location - dated and renovationsbedürftiges hotel, not trained staff. On arrival, helpless front desk staff, could with the Hilton-contacting 'junior suite, diner & breakfast' nothing start. Endless discussions because of paid dinner, 30 minutes long. Given wrongly standard room; only on my complaint we got the suite (as an excuse probably an extra large). Diner: again discussion at the front desk. The pacivic restaurant was closed for remodeling (why sold Hilton. Com diner inclusive if no restaurant?). Next to Central station, arrived from Malpensa by bus takes you almost to your hotel. Underground takes you directly anywhere to the city. Long distance trains too surely. Real 4 stars hotel. Nice rooms, perfect bed. Bathroom is basic but in good condition. Internet connection is fast. Executive lounge is somehow limited except morning time and 6-9pm. Reception staff is kind and profficient. I have for one night in the Hilton Milano booked, since the price with Euro 100 was good and since i Hilton Gold-member am. The advantage is, that for example the breakfast is included. I then tried, but the coffee fell Italy i was a machinery -Cappuccino (powder) serves. That was already very disappointing. The Hilton Milano is ideal for a stopover - for a longer stay missing the hotel the charm. Is cheap close proximity to train station/metro. Otherwise it is rather off the beaten track and are missing bars or shopping opportunities in the area. The romos and the bathroom are a good size. The rich breakfast buffet was on the ground floor behind the bar serves. The service/ friendliness of the staff is polite, but a bit cold. We paid for parking 20 Euro. … read more
