The friendliness from the staff our view. Many waiters are hard a few words to learn german. With english and a few words in spanish but you always get to the destination. Unfortunately, we were only a week in the outstandingly beautiful grand hotel bavaro. I have my arm broken and we had to leave early.     This hotel is located right by the most beautiful white-sand beach of Bávaro, in south-eastern Dominican Republic. It is only 30 minutes away from Punta Cana International Airport.
  • Facilities
    The hotel offers different types of accommodation, including Standard, Junior Suite with sea view, Superior Suite and Presidential Suite. A total of 274 suites are on offer. The air-conditioned establishment features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. Guests can dine in the café or restaurant and spend their evenings in the bar or disco. Conference facilities and room service are also available and a laundry service is provided for a fee. The hotel is adults-only.

    All suites have an intimate hot tub overlooking the balcony or terrace for a breath-taking view of the ocean or gardens. They are equipped with individually regulated air conditioning, a plasma TV with satellite/cable channels and DVD player, a safe, a telephone and an iPod/mp3-compatible docking station. The marble en suite bathrooms come with his and her vanity units, top-of-the-line Gilchrist and Soames amenities, a bathtub and a hairdryer. Further fittings include fine European bedding and linens, bathrobes and slippers and a fully stocked minibar including mini bottles of premium liquors, customised to the guests' taste.
