Not so close to Alpin Express, with skis on your shoulders is quite a long walk but if you're lucky you can catch the free shuttle to go back to the hotel. The location is pretty suggestive with a great view from your balcony. Rooms are quite spacious but a little bit rustic. In the bathroom you'll find only shampoo and shower gel. There is no hair drier so if you need you must ask for one at the reception, but unfortunatly it's often unattended. There's also no electrical outlet so you can't use a shaver in the bathroom. Staff ... is very kind especially shuttles's drivers. Breakfast stops at 10.00 that is long enough for mountain and it's not wonderful but not bad. read hotel review

The hotel works from the outside ephemeral considers attractive, is however on both sides installed. The main entrance is dirty. ( see photo). Dining room and bar are inviting and acceptable clean. Booked from 27 August until 10 September a single room with half board. General information is available. 2 different daily papers couches before the breakfast room. The hotel was since the 30 August feast in Russian hand (circa 30 younger persons/ sport group). The atmosphere was lively. Also for dinner was optically some persons no standards recognizable ( shorts, sleeveless T-shirt, shoes). Apart from that were also usually ... well-fed and without exception properly dressed older swiss the guests in the hotel. read hotel review

    In the dining area, as well as in the whole hotel is the brilliant shining light Sandra, which always very friendly, helpful and attentive and even with larger work agreement always the clue what he was doing and never gestresst worked. For Sandra = 6 points! -also for Michael in the dining area, or 5 points! Even darker than the episodes night is the room service (S. Room). My review 1 point. Also for boss Ulf there are from me 1 point (S. dining). Apart from that ran the check in uncomplicatedly and fast. The front desk is from 12:00 until: o'clock not occupied.

    Advertised with good reason with exclusive foreign languages. Special features at the breakfast buffet from 07:30 revealed some. Homemade jams or special yoghurt sorts. The selection and quality would be (very) good, but... For groups and other hotel guests is the breakfast buffet in the same room different. During the Russian travel group a general limited choice, but everyone at: hours with 2a 3 piece fruit in the hand the left, there was from 08:00 A. M. a larger selection for example at cheese, but barely fruit. For me incomprehensibly, therefore for breakfast only 4 points. The dinner consists of 5 courses included a very good (6 points ) salad buffet. As long as the from the hotel employee cook was there, there was not a single course ever something to complain. For the chef clear 6 points! From 1a 3 day was the cook however not since. The dinner there was in a nearby located hotel a piece of uphill. On the first day I got there ekelige pasta in a sauce which only caters salt was. The worst food (1 point), which I have ever in Switzerland had. The salad buffet was in the nearby located hotel also modest (2 points). On 2+3 day was with boss Ulf no other solution regarding food find, as it is in his opinion completely reasonable is also in another hotel fobbed to, as long as the cook was absent, if booked half board was. The instruction, that I naturally else on own costs to eat, there were at least free of charge. The dinner, which I on 2+3 day elsewhere- however not. Negative I thought, that the menu after a week again identical was. So if you for example 3 weeks stay white on the first monday ( apparently) what it next and after week monday to eat. The drinks prices were not overpriced.

    Saas fee is free of cars! The hotel is located in a quiet area and centrally located. The bus-train station, shops, as well as funicular railways are either in the immediate area or quickly easy to reach on foot. There is in saas fee 2 good supermarkets ( Migros, coop ), lots of shops, restaurants, as well as tourist information. The whole environment of saas fee is stunningly beautiful. With the guest card ( bürgerpass ) are amongst others the bus connections to saas reason, saas almagell and mattmark, as well as all funicular railways fully complimentary! Yet ideal as a basis for extensive hikes I think after 2 time saas fee in the meantime however saas reason.

    Was booked a single room. I got however a double room with a balcony for exclusive use. The room was quite large and bright. The furniture was in a moderate to worn state. From the balcony I could on the opposite lying house look (see photo). The carpet was musty and wavy (see photo). The quite dark bathroom ( see photos) without window and without working exhaust fan should in my opinion almost entirely renovated. The mini bar was very icy and should be defrosted are. A total disaster the room service was. Vacuumed only sometimes, the duvet in 2 weeks not changed, the reference from the pillows was 1 times changed. Then was a relation brown, during the other white was (see photo). The soap dispenser was at prior to about 5 per cent filled. After this quickly all was, passed over a week to replenishment. The balcony door was at 5 of 14 days not locked. Absolute negative highlight was, that the room door at 3. and fourth day not locked again was. On third day it was at least still ajar, on fourth day the room door clearly visible to be desired, as I in the evening back came. Other guests could confirm this assertion. I would still some things occur, but less than 1 point, there was yes anyway not.
